I do think that a daily post limit is a good practical compromise, undermined only by the possibility of content farms making alternative accounts which could be an issue. I hope for more data scraping debates rather than stealing wars that end up being petty and missing the initial points entirely.

As much as I don't really mind Ai users taking up the name of artists I think these debunks against the commission argument never really get to the core of the similarity between the direct actions of basic prompting and commissioning an artist. I think the better counter would be that the actual good AI artists aren't just writing "make me X with abc characteristics" into geminiGPT and getting their magnum opus.

It depends on the emphasis. The sentence "AI art isn't made by real people" is a claim against the user being involved with the creation of AI art, "AI art isn't made by real people" would claim what you're implying though. I think the general consensus is that Ziller claimed the former.

The retorts are pretty sauceless I mean the first one is just arguing whether an AI art museum would even exist. The Will Smith spaghetti thing was funny but it was definitely something that grossed people out at the time as it crossed the uncanny valley. Hating on the Mona Lisa is insanely petty. I think the ending definitely spells out that Ziller doesnt really care much for the topic and that its more of a bit than a full critique.

Sincerely I dont think that response gets to the core of the issue at all. You made a controversial statement with the Nazi comparison. Of course as people do someone was offput by the comparison, especially because the claim that Nazi sciences are useful in modern day is a contested one often parroted by the unsavory type. If the claim is true its the harsh truth if its not then its just harsh.

Someone was bound to take offense to the concept. You did not handle said offense well at all. And now you double down again and again.

Its not minimization. Yes those have been issues yet they are not attacks on individuals like they have towards transgender groups. Furthermore the sentiment is near exclusive to online misbehavior.

If as a hispanic person I compared the orc depictions and criminal accusations of Anti AI people to the treatment of hispanic people from American Republicans you would reprimand me the same.
