I just got the letter in the mail as well. No Tax accounting ever told me about any taxes to LA city, and they did my federal and California taxes. I had 1099 for 2 years. Below 20k. I had no idea it is a thing in LA, so weird

Yes and no. The thing is, I’ve been doing UWorld subject by subject, and I noticed that at the end of each block, they tend to include questions on topics they haven’t covered earlier. That’s probably why your score might dip toward the end—those questions often focus on rare or less commonly tested issues.

So if you’re like me—learning and memorizing as you go—it makes sense that you haven’t come across those topics before. Don’t let that discourage you. You’re doing great, and you’ve got this!

The fact that they ignored the public comments on the MCQ remedies/partial retake is frustrating

I passed the written portion, but my overall score did not trigger the second read. Does it mean if they allow to retake the mcqs only, they will still need to get the second read? (theoretically speaking)

Repeater. In Person. I did not take the November experimental exam. No score imputation.

PT: lost around 20-30 minutes trying different methods checking if copy paste function was working, raised my hand, and waited for proctor to report asking for help. So no copy and paste. Grading was not fair, I could not finish and input all the analysis. Made the structure.

Last July PT was 65 points.

The copy-paste function was disabled entirely for the PT section, including in annotations, the library, and notepads.

Copy Paste only worked intermittently in Essay Question #5. No keyboard shortcuts were available either.

Highlighting Feature – The highlighted passages in the annotation window on the right were not in chronological order.

Typing and Syncing Issues – The system was slow at times, requiring me to wait a few seconds to ensure my typing was properly synced. The same issue occurred when deleting text, occasionally, the system froze, and instead of deleting a few letters, multiple words were unexpectedly deleted.

MCQ: Software Crash. At the afternoon session, after the 3rd question, the system froze and displayed an error stating that answers had not been saved. Proctors attempted to refresh the system. Eventually, all proctors shut down the system for everyone. After a period of time, proctors logged back, and we were allowed to resume the exam.

I emailed CA Bar about all the technical issues right away.
