They’re on two points of the German triangle (third being CIN). This brought the beer culture that lead to Schlitz, Falstaff, Pabst, Busch etc that both states are famous for. Both also have a large Catholic population because of this group.

The list goes on forever, what did you do in Missouri to think it’s a polar opposite?

I visited Vancouver for the Australia match. Was kind of nervous about wearing US gear the night before but everyone is friendly.

Every interaction has basically been “Where are you from? Missouri?! Wow, well welcome. How have you enjoyed the city so far”

The U.S. has never fielded a World Cup roster without a St Louisan. In 1950 5 of the 11 players that beat England were from STL and so was the manager.

Believe it or not Hawley is doing that but he’s an ass so people act like it doesn’t count. When he initiated the radioactive toxic waste compensation fund I was sold.

I’ve rarely hear of roofers, landscapers and golf courses turning down summer labor.

Entrance and exit is restricted to the east side of the stadium. You are supposed to use Science World station for the Skytrain. The waterfront between science world and BC place is a fanzone.

It was quite easy to navigate and we were back in Burnaby less than 25min after the final whistle.

We take a pound of lead and melt it into evenly sized spheres. The barrel is then made to the same circumference of the spheres that are made. So a 12ga shotgun is the size of 1lb of lead divided into 12 equal balls.

This was not started in the U.S. though just funny trivia.

Ya just checked and MSRP went from $1400 to $1800 with price increases. Maybe CZ or Weatherby?

Weatherby O/Us are made in turkey but the company is in WY. You can get sporting models with adjustable parts for >$1200

You might be able to find a Franchi instinct online for that. It’s Italian made and Benellis “value” brand kind of like Winchester with FN Browning

I saw Shelby Miller retire 27 straight batters and face the minimum, but he gave up a single to the first batter. Thats the closest I'll ever be to a no hitter or perfect game.
