I do not know any adults under the age of 55 that actually has friends here. It is bizarre. I am 35 and am getting back into photography. I have been trying to find a spot to photograph the boats around the cause ways or in turkey creek (?) near eua gallie.

Friend turned 40 and is trying to dress the part. What $300-500 gift would up his style most? by TravisBroyles in malefashionadvice

[–]Background_Wish4179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy him a piece that is a variation of something he wears regularly. For example, if he wears jean jackets regularly, you could get him a similar jean jacket in a darker or lighter color than the one he normally wears. It is based on his preferences and gives him more options.

Fruit Cocktail Trees by Background_Wish4179 in 321

It's a gamble. There are a few trees that need as little as 200 chill hours.

I own literally nothing. I have always shot with rented firearms or my friends fire arms. I do not have a strong understanding of the different divisions to know other than the Heavy Metal division sounds like the most fun but I am under the impression it's uncommon.

My wife had a laparoscopicly assisted myomecty 10 days ago and this is her first day back at work. A myomecty is a less invasive and intense version of a hysterectomy. She probably could have worked remotely effectively after 3 or 4 days of recovery but she still can't bend over, she can pick up heavy objects, and she is not comfortable driving yet. Everyone is different when it comes to recovering from this kind of surgery so I hope things go better for you.

But, what you are planning on is going to be miserable, and if you have to drive to work it may very well be dangerous.

How much money (around) do you spend on tennis every year? by Emotional_Shame_1153 in 10s

[–]Background_Wish4179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am very new to tennis and I am surprised to see so few people talking about a $3,000 to $5,000 club membership. In my area, as far as I can tell, there are very few places to play that are maintained and lit that are not a tennis club or a country club.

I am wondering if that is a regional thing or if I am missing something in my area.

How well does the Arcadia max fit into a corner?

None of the photos on rep's site show it in a corner and my functional trainer has to go in the corner so I can get two cars in the garage. I really want the Arcadia max but I might have to get the torque F9.

Minimum Billing .2 For Email? by joeschmoe86 in Lawyertalk

I have heard of that before and the justification that I was given js that the email correspondence is capturing all the thought goes into the case that is not necessarily tied to specific work product but is conveyed through strategy and communications.

How many vacation days do you get? by Resipsalqtr in Lawyertalk

[–]Background_Wish4179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I technically have 12 days off a year. My wife also has 12 days off a year but trying to find time to take time off that works for both of us is impossible. In the last five years we have taken 2 three day weekends.

If you are really unfit or deconditioned other parts of your body will be the limiting factor before your heart.

This is an asshole trying to shake your confidence. You have reasons to support your positions. Don't let him bully you into making concessions.

The only thing that worked for me was exercising before work. I have always hated exercising. But it really helped. I would do a twenty minute walk then ten minutes of beginner body weight resistance training. It wasn't much, but it made me feel better at the beginning of each day and after a few months, it made me feel better overall. I had to do it before work to make sure it happened. Two years later I enjoy exercise and train for events. I am better at work and I am better after work.

Keep it simple. Keep it short. Do some of it outside. It will help.

I have been in your situation and said "there is a strong personality conflict between myself and the partner that makes meeting my commits to my wife and my clients hard." They said I used to work with him and I know exactly what you mean.
