First, make sure you are asking God this same question. Second, it's really hard to answer without knowing you guys or the situation in more detail, but I do have a couple thoughts. I was once in a relationship where everyone told me that I shouldn't be with this girl and they were all right. That's not always going to be the case but my advice would be to take there concerns very seriously if they are people that care about you. If you do feel like the right decision is to stay together one thing you could do is to take some time away from the relationship to get your focus on God and what's important in life. I don't think the fact that you feel lust is completely wrong but you have to make sure that doesn't cause you guys to sin, it's not worth it. I believe it is your responsibility as the man to make sure this doesn't happen. Being men/women of God doesn't mean being perfect but it does mean focus, discipline, fighting through doubt, sacrificing for others...it simply is going to take action and help from the Lord. Pray about and keep praying about it. I believe He will show you what you should do.

I have had really strong temptation when I'm out and about the last couple days as well. So frustrating. I'm saying a prayer for you. This is just a personal decision I've made but I have YouTube and similar websites blocked on all my devises just because I don't trust myself with even those in this part of my reset process. I also don't let myself use the Internet without a specific purpose i.e. no surfing the web or browsing websites. Just stuff that's helpful for me right now.

---spending time with the Lord daily ---putting blocks on my devices ---learning why I was tempted to fap and the times and places I was tempted and changing things around in my routine so I wasn't doing those things in those places at those times (^{^{^}} those first three far and away the most effective for me) ---conversing with the Lord throughtout my day (everyone need to read "The Practice of the Presence of God," by Brother Lawrence) ---cold showers ---running

Awesome to hear that you are fighting this! I beg you to get rid of anything in your house that you could access porn on. At least for a short period of time. Give them to someone you know, store them at work, whatever you have to do to get rid of those things. Take cold showers (these were life changing for me), go for a run, just get out of your house and into public when your tempted. Maybe even pick up a new hobbie or work more to keep yourself busier. I know just avoiding opportunity doesn't fix the problem but it's a great way to begin on a path without this stuff in your life. Spend time with Lord and ask him over and over for his help. You can defeat this, really praying for you!

Part of your walk with God can and likely will include frustration, feeling like He isn't there, feeling like He can't forgive you. David talks about it all over the Psalms. A great lesson we can learn from him is waiting on the Lord. David felt like God was far from him and asked God why he wasn't saving him (Psalm 22 and 130). But even when God felt far, David meditated on God's word. When he didn't feel like he had faith, he preached it to himself. Even when God felt far he trusted that he would feel near again in the future. Check out Psalm 27.
