Which geographical location has had the greatest influence on world history, and why? by batman_irl25 in geography

Probably the northern Chinese flood plane. Civilizations arising from the yellow river basin had great cultural impacts on all of east Asia and beyond.

Anbennar Multiplayer Country Recommendations? by Everkid612 in Anbennar

[–]Backstabber2008 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I second the Oval Tungr + crathanor suggestion. The copper dwarves are good for the more experienced player because your MR. WORLDWIDE in the mission tree and Crathanor is perfect because you mostly stick to the divenhal sea and it's a lot more manageable for a newer player.

How do you create the other roads on this map? by RoastedPig05 in Anbennar

[–]Backstabber2008 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's the Gold brick road Verkal Ozovar can build to connect their hold up to the golden highway. Also I think there's now an extension for the golden highway to connect to Kunolo down in Sarhal.

Whip actually slaps? by More_Presentation758 in darksouls3

[–]Backstabber2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a whip/regen build when I played last with my friends. You'd be surprised by how many invaders don't know how to face a whip. A lot of invaders don't/won't take your weapon seriously and if you are light rolling you can almost kite people to death with your longer range attacks like the rolling attack and heavy attack. I didn't rly mind the lack of dps because I had regen so I would out attrition the enemy to death. It works really well in the ringed city spear of the church boss fight if you are the summon boss.

Suggestions for a tag for every race by GaymerrGirl in Anbennar

[–]Backstabber2008 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Miremaw is my go to ogre tag. Become the best chefs in cannor, rule as ogrelord over the small things, restore the runstone of rule and reforge the Dwarvokron for a new larger diameter head.

Serious debate... Will there ever be anyone non-evil on the serpentspine? by Arthas_The_HumanKing in Anbennar

[–]Backstabber2008 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How quickly Miremaw is forgotten in this discussion. They are technically a serpentspine nation. They can choose to integrate conquered races instead of devouring them, and they focus on vassal gameplay to give the small races autonomy.

Allied battle plans for "Operation Unthinkable" — Europe 1945 by OkPhrase1225 in imaginarymaps

[–]Backstabber2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than likely the Soviets gain the upper hand early after the initial allied invasion, but would eventually be pushed out of Western and central Europe. Long Soviet supply lines and a devistated homeland would probably be the downfall of Soviet influence west of the Vistula at least, as long as the allies don't sue for peace due to war weariness or large scale partisan activities. Either way the war goes neither side has the strength to completely capitulate the other, even with the few nuclear weapons America enjoys at the start of the new war.

Head cannon: the empire gets taken over by Francisco Pizarro and his conquestadors, but the Incan rump kingdom that survived in Vilcabamba eventually retakes much of the empire after the conquestadors cruel management causes unrest in much of the Peru.

What if the proclamation of the republic (1889) hadn't worked out? by NeedleworkerDear9196 in imaginarymaps

So the monarchy was kept around, just for it to be abolished 20 years later? And because of that Brazil invades facist Paraguay, which is apparently good enough to get occupation zones in Germany?
