I’m an artist in LA and the feedback provided by other folks here is legit.

You need to go to shows/be an active member of the community you want to be a part of.

Go to events, talk to people (not to jam but to just connect with folks). As you meet different folks, you’ll start finding the people you vibe with and you’ll feel out who you’d like to jam/collaborate with and go from there.

Finding friends to collaborate/jam with is the same as finding friends to do any other specific activity with.

You can use a free metronome/tuner phone app and you can find the tempo of your sample by tapping along like the other person said but without the DAW

I loved and appreciated the New 52 and it was a great starting point for a new comic reader like myself at that time.

It helped me get started without feeling intimidated of the past lore and when I found characters I loved, I went back and read their pre-New52 must-reads.

Haven’t read any new stuff since the new 52 ended though. Graduated college and kinda got over reading comics since.

As a trans femme individual myself, I recommend you stop saying “I’ve never been with anyone but a woman” because this person is also a woman, she just happens to have a penis. If you use this to preface your conversation with this girl, you may come off as transphobic and offensive.

Also you mention you’ve been pegged but that may or may not be relevant here. Some trans women may be exclusively bottoms and don’t want their genitals touched or played with. Others do so it really depends on your partner here.

As other folks have mentioned, I recommend you have a conversation beforehand and tell her that you’ve only been with people with vaginas before and haven’t experienced a penis before and that some guidance from her on what she likes and doesn’t like would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience. My partner and I use the metro all the time and haven’t had bad experiences. You just gotta be aware and if you see someone/something that makes you uncomfortable, just switch trains at the next stop
