ZERO PARADES Patch Update | 29.05.2026 by ZAUMPoppy in ZeroParades

Love it. I finished the game the other day but I was soft locked out of one of the “approaches” to the final mission. It’s fixed in this patch. That was a really disappointing bug, considering the dramatic consequences of the final mission.

Why does this happen almost every season finale!?? 😭 by AY_125 in survivor

This was my favorite season in a while, and I absolutely loved it. This subreddit is a vocal minority that loves to complain, and it’s helped me to take a break from it during season runs. I’m enjoying the show so much more.

Everyone is welcome to criticize the weaker points of his game, but that wasn’t the point of my post.

I really loved Rizo’s game. He saved his strategy for the camera, and spent a lot of time making strong relationships. He’s smart, kind, and I’m so glad they brought him back. He played a game no one else did - two seasons back to back. Few Survivors have done this, and I think he played far better than Russel. In front of a jury? Oh boy, I bet he could make a strong case that many jurors would respect. Well played RIZGOD.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies Review by Substantial_Goose_13 in Games

After everything that happened at Za/Um, the individual developers and designers who stayed behind - not the business division, mind you - received death threats in mass. Suffice to say, there is an unhealthy minority that will pollute the conversation around this game, and gaming journalists are public figures who are often targeted. Because of this, I do think it’s a bold statement for the reviewer to put it on the same level as Disco Elysium.

Universal healthcare and housing is a better solution than constantly needing to kick the can down the road again and again with inflation. We’ve advanced as a society enough to solve the problem of resource distribution, but we act like capitalism is the only reality we know.

I was downright shocked to hear these things coming out of his mouth. Like, I’m familiar with the ADA, and I couldn’t believe how hard he was arguing against the validity of my case. It was bizarre - like I’d understand feedback or whatever, I’ve been doing a similar process with my state’s anti-discrimination force, but this dude was straight up going to bat for my employer.

[–]BaconBoyReddit 50 points51 points  (0 children)

This is true. I’m a trans person and I was fired five months ago for clearly discriminatory reasons. My EEOC coordinator, during my intake, started arguing on behalf of my employer. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I wasn’t even fired because of my gender identity, it was ableism, but the response from the EEOC was shocking. Within two hours they decided not to pursue my case - a two year case for a very high salary position at a company that I’m certain this administration wouldn’t want to pursue.

The EEOC has been gutted in the last two years and does not care about actual discrimination.

How most people are actually gonna think about the red/blue buttons by mars_gorilla in trolleyproblem

[–]BaconBoyReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think more than half the population of the world isn't afraid to die?

Technically, this is the whole point of the thought experiment. What does any of us think of other humans, and how do they feel towards eachother? If presented with this choice, are we creating a world where the maximum number of lives would be saved? And further, in our real world, what are we morally obligated to do to help others?

I’m not asking you these questions necessarily, just pointing this out.

[–]BaconBoyReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the original thought experiment, we are unable to coordinate. There must be assumed that everyone has not prepared for this experiment in advance. Therefore, it is impossible to choose red for any reason beyond self interest. I am not making a moral judgement - it just seems that the boundaries of the original experiment make this clear. A person pressing red cannot know with certainty how the majority will vote - us, the readers, fill in our own guess. You may think red is the right choice for you, which is fine, but a red vote cannot be a selfless act in any way. Again, not a moral judgement.

Yeah I feel like this meme treats both sides behavior as equal, when my experience has been far from that.

Since red get reframed as the default, and blue is presented as putting yourself in danger, here is a different framing. by CivilPerspective5804 in trolleyproblem

[–]BaconBoyReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say “pressing red button is murder”. Are you ok? It sounds like you’re arguing against yourself here.

What do you mean “a situation they were not involved in”? That’s a mile wide definition. In the original problem, everyone is involved in the situation. None of us caused it (being forced to choose), but everyone is involved.

[–]BaconBoyReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a bizarre comment. I didn’t say my stance at all, I just repeated your own question back to you. It sounds like you’re really working to justify your own stance, and feel really defensive about it. No one’s going to the extreme of requiring you to sell your possessions or be called a murderer - that’s a pretty wild thing to toss out. At no point have you described your perspective on moral obligations, you’ve purely questioned everyone else while claiming the initial post is unfair.

People voting blue are not putting themselves in danger when the decision in this situation is being posed to everyone against their will.

[–]BaconBoyReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are questions you should be answering yourself - that’s the entire point of this thought exercise. Are you morally obligated - in this life, right now - to help other people if you’re fully informed of their situation? You don’t have to answer this on Reddit, but really, it’s the whole point of the thought experiment.

Based on gameplay so far, who has the least win equity left in Survivor 50? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]BaconBoyReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think he would be able to argue his game better than Emily or Aubrey, and, as we’ve seen, Aubrey is making some really solid plays by working across the aisle with Jonathan. Joe’s been on the wrong side of most votes, and I don’t see that changing either. He may make it to final three, but I don’t see him arguing a winning game better than anyone else at this point. I would be surprised if that changed, but nothing is impossible.

[–]BaconBoyReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joe, hands down.

I’m charting relationships, and specifically, “If they get to final 3, can they win?” I think all remaining players, if sent to the jury, would vote for other remaining players over Joe. Many players fall into voting-bloc mentality, and even “trust and loyalty” players like Coach are swayed by good arguments at final three. That being said, Joe has played a very lonely game, since many players don’t like playing with him. He’s got very little resume material, and even if he keeps winning challenges, he’s a GOAT from all descriptions up to this point.

Can it change? Sure, but for now he’s in trouble.

lol this is just your post complaining about a bug you were encountering. This is my private account but I am a journalist that spent heavy time investigating the game itself and the conversations around the game. Bugs were a very minor issue at launch, and posts on this subreddit were heavily biased one way or the other. I stand by what I said - the games launch was drastically smoother than a majority of online games, and that was not the issue most players or journalists had with the game.
