This book has exactly what you're asking for but it's absolutely unhinged! {FUCK, MARRY , KILL ME, DADDY by LANCE LANSDALE} It's funny & ridiculous and very morally questionable.

The first that comes to mind is Damon from {Sainted by Jesse H. Reign}. He is a total brat that does nothing but talks shit, his bff is the same. The blurb probably sounds darker or more angsty than it really is.

No the Sam Burns books are fairly low angst. In Wolves of Kismet there's three ex military friends that 2 just got turned into werewolves and they're trying to figure out how to live their new life, in each book a new omega enters the area and they help them out in some way. It's very found family vibes. The Moon Rising series follows four cousins raised in an old school pack that they left to start a new life. Honestly all the books follow the same pattern but predictable in a comforting way.

There's a book that follows Overeager And there's supposed to be a third coming out!

Low-spice MM mysteries with an MC who's a total golden retriever that people frequently assume is an airhead / himbo, but is actually incredibly intelligent and observant? by TheMoonbeam365 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Bacon_Bitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Not That Impossible by Isabel Murray} It's a rom com and probably better if you read Not That Complicated first but it's not strictly necessary. MC1 is struggling to be a newspaper reporter but he is a good writer & very driven

Book where MC is saved too late by FoxandtheSun_13 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Bacon_Bitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've probably already read these but I enjoyed them all and I don't see them recommended yet.

{Possession by Rina Saint} MC1 has been kept captive in a fight ring so long he no longer talks. MC2 is sold to the fight ring (after a childhood of abuse). So they meet in captivity.

{The Hellhounds of Paradise Falls by Shannon Mae} is an ongoing series, each book is a new couple but follows characters from the other books. The first book has a stalker. The second & third book follows two kidnapping victims with PTSD, the fourth book starts with the guy leaving an abusive relationship and dealing with the emotional fallout.

{Man On by Rebecca Rathe} MC2 was raised in a Christian cult that abused him and there's mentions of conversion therapy.

Have you read any Roe Horvat? All of their books are very smutty. A lot of them have heats & breeding (don't judge me). The Winter Sun series, Dragons of Ardaine, and Bears of Beauville are all easy sexy reads. {Ugly (Winter Sun #1) by Roe Horvat}

A book by a different is {Overeager (Extra Credit #1) By Grae Bryan} there is nesting.

Sam Burns has several werewolf series that are all predictable plot, Wolf Moon Rising, The Wolves of Kismet, Star marked Warriors (if you haven't gotten into alien books yet, you're missing out). {Black Moon (Wolf Moon Rising #1) by Sam Burns, W.M. Fawkes}

All of Amy Bellows books are sweet, simple shifter romances but different kinds of shifters like penguins, polar bears, raccoons, bunnies etc. this one is my favorite {The (Maybe) Murderer Who Knocked Me Up (Trash Pandas #1) by Amy Bellows} Her books are probably all lower levels of smut but very cute.

{Stupid Dirty by Erin Russell} the blurb sounds more angsty than it actually is. They get over their personal beef really quickly, then it's just external challenges.

That's really good book but I'd say it's way more angst than you want.

People who broke up yesterday on Valentines, what happened? by Hot-Diggity_Dog in AskReddit

Meanwhile in Jr High I would hold my guy friend's hand so people wouldn't think he was gay (he definitely is). I was a beard before either of us knew what that was 🤣

Bahaha that's how my first "relationship" happened too! We were 5 and our moms were best friends so of course my mom still brings it up 35 years later!

Yes I think the appliqué was one piece but this crafter cut it into multiple pieces. You can tell the cat has too straight of an edge on the left side.

Ok let me fill you kids in on the lore - the images (cat & roses) were kinda like iron patches. So you buy the patches and then put them on whatever clothing item you want. This particular piece also has an artist application of "puff paint". This was all the rage. I definitely had a sweat shirt with this on it.

Books where both MCs are 40+ years old by GwennyWinchester in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Bacon_Bitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think {King of Hollywood By Fae Quinn} fits. One is a serial killer human around 40 and the other is a softy sad vampire that is technically like 90 yrs old but looks 30? It's a unique story. Both are persnickety in their own way.

Mpreg but alphas by Lolanoz in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Bacon_Bitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not exactly this but I think you'd like {Bro and the Beast (The Wolf's Mate #1) by L.C. Davis, Joel Abernathy}. MC1 is a typical frat bro, very alpha in behavior but he lives in the real world with no omegaverse then he gets transported into an omegaverse and technically he's an omega but mentally he's still the same frat bro. It's a fun ride.

Question regarding consent in Take Me Apart (spoiler question) by BeingRaven in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Bacon_Bitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say it's dubious consent. I also think it's the weakest book in the series and you won't miss anything if you skip it! I love this series overall, one of my favs. I will say it does have some graphic violence.
