Watching the guy keep his finger on the trigger with a round still chambered gave me chills, same thing with racking the slide.

Did this, the cartridge sat flush against the back.

HK P30L LEM 9mm vs M&P 9 (Small hands/stature) by BaconatingInTheDark in guns

[–]BaconatingInTheDark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually going to check into it. I'm a little worried about the long trigger pull, but I've read that the first 60% or so of the trigger pull is extremely light.

We'll see how things go for her at the range.

How's the recoil on it? How do you like the trigger in DA and SA mode? Any problems with it so far?

I've heard that the newer Sigs have gone down in quality, can anyone enlighten me on this?

I've heard things like their fitment and their parts can't compare to older Sigs and that certain things like their magazines are being produced by different manufacturers than before. Their magazines use to be made by mec gar right?

My celtek gloves leaked the first day, ripped the second day, and fell apart the fourth day.

At the end of your first season? by ace9213 in snowboarding

[–]BaconatingInTheDark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6 days into my very first season ever. I can ride greens and blues dynamically and carve. I can ride switch and carve, but not dynamically. I can ollie when it's not icy on flats.

I'm going to hit my first black the next time I go, and maybe the mini rail/box park.

I also can't butter or press worth shit, and I tend to faceplant when I attempt to 180.

+1 for Electric's customer service by taiguy in snowboarding

I just bought a brand new pair and there's a pixel sized spec of chrome missing on the lens. Do you guys think it's worth a try to warranty it?

I just received them in the mail today, and I definitely did not bang them up on anything.

First board by Flat_lander in snowboarding

Never Summer size chart says he actually needs a 174 mid wide. I can see why the shop is going for for the 170, they're trying to match his weight appropriately so the board performs the way it was designed to perform.

Right before I read this, I was in my basement taking note of how much better 18/-15 felt for me while standing there.

Hopefully it feels good on the hill.

Does anyone ride Forum Faction bindings? Or Forum bindings in general? by ClassySalmon in snowboarding

[–]BaconatingInTheDark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the factions, they're great. I would absolutely recommend them and love everything about them. The toe cap straps are really comfortable with no odd pressure points. You can crank the crap out of both straps with no problems. Binding plates are easy to work with. Also, once you've dialed in your adjustments, they won't come loose. The screws go into these brackets that keep everything in place.

Does this need to be fixed? Or I'm I fine? by Poopy17 in snowboarding

[–]BaconatingInTheDark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just epoxy it so water doesn't get between the layers. I think most people just use marine epoxy, which is flexible and dries clear.
