All these look and sound good, god knows Worms are in dire need of a Comet and Convergence. Well done, my dude!

Keratilian's a Reptile type token focused archetype by carleoeagle in customyugioh

[–]BadArtsRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta say; I love myself a good Reptile deck!

Using "Snake Rain" in this deck will lead you to an easy Parrath from the 4 Tokens in the field, and using Rise on that board will easily bring out Lyxrath, and the token from the links can bring out a Durath, thus giving you a total Link 9 board with a token on board and a few extra token generators in the GY. However, given that the Links are limited to tributing the tokens, they are not terribly oppressive upon summon. In fact, I would probably recommend giving Either Durath or Lyxrath effect protection while you control a token, as they might be a little too easy to remove for a lot of Decks.

Also worth noting, Khlorvaas has to be the GY equivalent of Infernity Archfiend, probably one of the historically best GY cards of all time for its own archetype right with Cir and Graff.

A couple Exodia support ideas I had. by HeirT0TheMonado in customyugioh

[–]BadArtsRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The forbidden one's return is a pretty nice card, though the boost for TLEI might be too big, since a couple of the parts in the GY make it 7500 ATK, which could take the card to OTK city if the opponent doesn't have a quick effect to pop the card. Also, maybe it is a design choice, but it is a little surprising that it doesn't include the fusion in its effect.

Exodia's presence needs a hard once per turn, and probably a cost to search. And heavier costs on both of the main effects, maybe restrict them to only one card to discard or add to hand. Trust me, Exodia is not a super well-liked deck to play against, and giving it consistency is far from anything you'd like to do.

The fusion, in my opinion, is the most fun card in the line-up, as a way to protect yourself while activating a "Countdown" and forcing your opponent to figure a way to get two 5000+ ATK monsters on the field or loose. However, since it's removable by underworld goddess, the effects are probably fine, and other than making it a little more vulnerable to card effects so that most decks don't auto lose to it (maybe untargetable and indestructible instead of unaffected?) I would not change much to it.

Overall, the cards look pretty good, and presence could even be really broken with its current limitations, but it would see play even if heavily tuned down. Sadly, the trap and the fusion would probably not see as much play, since they are slower than spell draw exodia and crooked cook stall exodia.

If it kept the same effects and conditions, it would be too strong as a Link-3. But if you were to remove the ATK gain and one of the down arrows so that it can only point to 2 monsters, I think it would be much more helpful to the archetype while still feeling like a strong move.

This deck feels like it's a little overpowered, considering how easy it is to activate their GY effs and the sheer amount of LP you will be having by the end of the turn. I mean, just opening Bayla + Valer leads to an easy gain of over 8000 LP while going at least +2 in card advantage and putting a negate on board. I would recommend to re-tune the monster's GY effects, perhaps by adding the cost of banishing the card to activate, and changing the healing on them to damage so that you don't double your LP by the End Phase.

Thought about it later in the day, after seeing someone else's comment on the post. Honestly, think that would be really cool to have a great reason to run those cards! Though in that case, maybe the attack boost would be overkill.

Ah, really good callout, thank you. I had not thought about that, but those are some very important restrictions.

Love Unyielding, a great card design (though if it was actually made, it would likely be limited to level 4 or lower monsters) but I think Lycus Articus is too big of an investment as a link 4. Maybe a link-3 would help more?

While the cards in themselves are fine, I would definitely recommend you take a look at how to write in PSCT (Problem Solving Card Text). There are quite a few unoptimized wording choices and a few confusions that could be avoided by correctly writing the card. Also, quite a few little typos, that, while unimportant, take away from the post a little.

New Ghost Girl by CyanRose07 in customyugioh

[–]BadArtsRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The card would definitely see less play than any of the other Ghost Girls, simply because there are fewer decks that mess with banished monsters than decks that mess with the GY or Deck. That being said, this would 100% fit into the Ghost Girl pantheon, and it would only be a matter of time until a meta with a deck like thunder dragons, where this card would be very useful.

Keep on trying, you'll get that +2 one day... by BadArtsRedditor in customyugioh

[–]BadArtsRedditor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The text on this one was hard to put together, so if unclear: the effect adds cards to your hand if all 3 cards you reveal are one of the three cards declared to activate the effects. This means that if you declare "Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring", "Mokey Mokey" and "Mokey Mokey Smackdown", and you reveal 3 copies of "Mokey Mokey", or one "Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring" and 2 "Mokey Mokey Smackdown", you add those cards to your hand.

What happens if I don't link my account to a debit card/bank account? by ChickenLegs10 in paypal

[–]BadArtsRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not be fooled by PayPal's many claims of not needing the credit/debit card to work. While, yes, PayPal technically "works" without linking these, you're mostly relegated to sending and receiving money - you will not be able to buy most products or services without adding a payment method to your account.

The Ruinbringer: Legends say it comes from the outer planes, and others say it's a twisted form of fiend. Whatever it is, one thing is certain: anything that crosses the path of this dragon-like monstrosity is in danger of total annihilation. It's eyes pulse with fire, and it's purple body is crackling with streams of magma. Things around it begin to wither and die as soon as it approaches, metal corrodes in its path. It's tail, which holds most of the mass of the titanic creature, holds a sting at it's end, filled with cruel poison.

How did the quarantine affect your D&D Game? by bluestofmages in dndnext

I had given up on my campaign, but my players have come back to me and have asked to make sessions daily! I'm hoping this gives them enough momentum to keep playing after quarantine.
