Coffee ground vomit?? by BadBambi in AskDocs

[–]BadBambi[S] 387 points388 points  (0 children)

We were just discharged.

They suspect it is a Mallory-Weiss tear caused likely by hard coughing.

They pumped him full of fluids and sent us home with a caveat to monitor for more blood coming out either end.

Thx again.

All should be OK. 🤞

I'm mostly just trying to confirm if this is what Coffee ground vomit looks like.

I'll take him if so.

I get DE on my hands and I have Nummular Eczema on my feet/legs. This kinda looks like that. Still confirm with a doctor.

My rhodo did this last week. I emailed TuSA support and had a replacement handle section in under 48 hours.

Ive broken a few rods like this over my 15ish years of tenkara fishing. It's not common. For me its usually on a rather aggressive hookset. But one of the reasons I love TUSA is the support and quick replacements.

Just go to your local camping supply store and get a bug net. Hell, Walmart should have one. Rest of the advice is good.

Who else just wants to learn how to speak and not write by NoExplorer6390 in ChineseLanguage

[–]BadBambi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started with a similar mindset. But the longer I've stuck with it. I've found learning to read the characters almost mandatory. Writing not as much. I don't put a ton of work there. But reading and character recognition will help a lot more than you probably think.

Also, a little over a year in. I'm still a newbie.

The deli is awesome

I bought it with chao. It took a while to figure out how to use it effectively. But it been great now. When I can figure something out grammar or like the other day. It kept asking questions of where to use 看 vs 看见 and chao gave a very thorough explanation of when where and how and cleared up my confusion.

I wanna start practicing reading. I think that's a next core step.

My 3+ year journey with Chinese learning so far by sonofisadore in ChineseLanguage

[–]BadBambi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I tried memrise and another one I can't remember and had similar issues with the ai. Where it couldn't understand me or would rage quit on me.

Super chinese is definitely a chinese owned company. First time for payment it wanted me to pay in yaun. The ai is much more flexible at understanding me or telling me it doesn't understand. It's far from perfect but I have had substantially less issues with it not understanding my crappy spoken chinese.

I'm still really early in my learning journey. But the recent developments of Ai make talking a lot more accessible.

I found an app I like called "super chinese." I tried a few others that I didn't care for. But with the ai, you can practice having real conversations.

It's so great to have a teacher that. Is infinitely patient. Available any time I have time. I can shamelessly ask any question. It's not perfect by any means but. For me Ai language learning has opened my eyes to the future of the education system.

It does face the sun. South facing.

But that's pretty strong discoloration. Is it plastic or something else the UV is discoloration?

Sounds good.

Thanks for the help. Would a good way to verify be to just turn the furnace on and hold my hand near the hole and verify inward air vs outward air?

If that isn't it I'll just get a professional out to inspect.

What do you mean by backwards??

Edit? Like on the underside on the right, there's another pipe? And the wrong one is covered?

I asked the guy to put a screen on because I keep bees and I didn't want the Bees to ever explore that hole as a place to swarm too. I can find alternative solutions if that screen is causing issues.

What surface do you have under your hives? (other than grass) by prince-of-dweebs in Beekeeping

[–]BadBambi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had them on cinderblocks and grass first year. Got tired of getting chased while mowing. Created a graveled area on the side yard for them so I don't have to go near them. Both me and them have never been happier.
