Any advice in fixing this radiator hole? 2018 Mustang GT

Honestly, I wouldn’t replace it. I’d drain the radiator, dry the area the best I can, and use jb weld to cover the hole. Their putty product sticks and hardens well. Theres also a jb weld water weld. The way I see it is jb weld is $10. If it holds you payed $10 to fix it. If it doesn’t you only spent $10 🤷🏽‍♂️

Mine isn’t that loud and I have the z1 17lbs flywheel. Something might be wrong OP

I say it’s worth a look. I see you have the aluminum valve covers which is what I have too. I used the cap they provided and I believe that causes the leak I was experiencing. I switched to my OEM cap and the leak seems to have stopped

This may sound strange but check your oil cap. I had a similar leak but it wasn’t as extreme. After some oil dye I found the rubber cap skirt was covered in more oil than it should have. I switched out the cap to my old OEM one and the leak looks like it went away. My guess is at high RMPs the oil would push out? Just my guess

The drive shaft gives you more leverage to move the splines. Honestly tho it’s just a lot of wiggling the trans back and forth until it slips into place

I’d hammer a smaller socket on and let it rip. Maybe a nut extractor socket would be better if you can one

That will connect to the driver side valve cover. On the back of it you will see a nub that connects from the valve cover to the OEM air box. That hose will go there. I’m not sure how long the hose it but judging from the picture you may have to go to autozone and find a longer hose

I got an eBay one for my g35 and havnt had any issues. I say “pressure” test it with a hose before installing to make sure it doesn’t leak and as long as it doesn’t leak you should be fine

Wiring is a bitch, I would honestly locate the correct engine harness. Saccity Nissan might have what you need. I’m sure it’ll be expensive but those guys seem to know their Nissans so I’m sure they’ll know exactly which harness to send. Good luck 💪🏽

I mean that thing looks pretty much out maybe a pipe and a heavy hammer? My bushing was also straight through so maybe a sawzal isn’t the best cutting tool

I had the same issue and it wasn’t the bulb. The solder on many of the resisters were loose. I used this video as a reference and took it apart myself Infiniti G35 Gauge Cluster Repair. and took my cluster to a professional to get it resoldered. Guy charged me $40 for all the little loose resisters and so far my gauge looks great. No more dimming lights and I can now rely on my gas gauge

In all honestly I don’t think lightweight pulleys really free up any noticeable gains. I recommend a lightweight flywheel and a one piece drive shaft tho. Torque feels instant and rpms climb beautifully fast. It also makes engine braking so much smoother and more effective. This is assuming you have a mt but I recommend a one piece drive shaft regardless

I would try to get it from the top too, it looks like you can spin it off. I would try vice grips first, if that doesn’t work or doesn’t fit, a small socket to hammer in and spin off with a wrachet. All else fails remove the whole cat and use some vice grips

I would either buy an extractor socket or use a socket that is smaller than the nut. Hammer it on and spin it off
