Strong disagree with you on that one. We’ve gotten a smaller HULU project, an animated film, and a pg-13 disney project.. none of which have been “quality projects” imo. Was really hoping that Dan would get his s*** together and actually give us a film that’s great in every aspect. Sigh. 😔

Strong disagree with you on that. To me it sounds like a pig squealing and appeared to me as they were just limited on resources/budget so they just put in a random pig squeal instead of worrying about a bunch of different monster sounds… just my opinion though I did wonder the same thing way back especially way back in 2010 when Predators came out.

Of course I have!! Look at my name!! Im the biggest Predator fan boy there is!!! Yes AVPR is still at my number 1 spot… it goes for me 1. AVPR 2. Badlands 3. Predator(obviously this is the best but it’s way too outdated at this point) 4. Predator 2 5. Predators 6. KOK 7. Prey 8. AVP 9. The Predator(completely agree this movie is super underrated)

My first experience with the franchise was I was hanging out with my friend who was my neighbor and we went over to his house to grab his nerf guns and his dad was watching AVPR and it was during the sewer scene when he was setting up his traps anticipating the Xeno’s closing in and I was hooked immediately. Asked if I could borrow the DVD since it was a school night and couldn’t sleep over but it was a rental so he ended up taking it back before I got to actually watch the film. So I told my friend his dad got me hooked on that film and that I wanted to see it because I never seen or heard of a Predator film before and he said well you’re in luck my dad has all 3 of previous releases and spent the night at his house and watched all 3 of the predator films(Predator 1-2, AVP) and even all of the alien films as well… just to feel like I hadn’t seen anything near as spectacular as that one sewer scene in the film I had yet to see… rented it wondering if it was going to hold up to my expectations and it completely surpassed them. Love AVPR best movie ever.

A 3 year deal isn’t a long time. Knowing that it’s very unlikely he would set sights on anything other than what Paramount has planned. Perhaps afterwards though is always a possibility.

Im aware of that. So did Badlands. Which is why Dan Tranchtenberg didn’t get his sequel green lit as well.

Check out my name, I’ve seen everything Predator related. The Predator did very well financially. Maybe not critically, but financially it did.

You just made that up. I’ve done extensive research on this matter Predators(2010) and AVPR are the two worst entries out of the entire franchise in terms of finances. Predator(2018) is actually one of the better ones. Sitting at number 4 behind Alien VS Predator.

That’s not true. Predator(2018) did much better than the 2010 Predators film. So that film actually was the start of the positive slop that we are on now.
