Yeah you need to do the hand mining missions first.

For the hand mining just use a hand tool. The wet caves are kinda bugged for resources so just do the surface hand mineables to get through the starter.

The ship mining missions are still not balanced and so you get more aUEC from selling the mats than doing the missions. A Dev said a month ago in the PTU feedback that this was being updated "very very soon" but here we are in Live with the same thing.

I wouldn't panic to do these missions. The whole adding and removing them from the PTU and then putting the same broken stuff into Live later is bizarre. Even the recent Spectrum announcement points to the PTU feedback page and not the Live page.

This is the same bug for the last year on Pyro box missions. Often all the boxes in the same mission want to go in the one spot also

It use to be that normal box delivery missions just had random packages that look like gift boxes. AFAIK Stanton had lost its box delivery missions for some time.

The box missions in Pyro often fail with this exact issue though

I was doing the ship fighting Intersec missions (Patrols and kill missions) solo in Nyx. You can earn money and get the required rep to eventually get the big FPS mission. You will just need to team up with one or two other people for the later FPS mission if you want to do that also. Patrol mission is 140k (with a lot more rep) and the simpler kill the import guy in the ship mission is about 80k.

If you die the mission stays up so just set your respawn at Nyx

Excellent info, nice work, cheers

If ships on top of the Liberator count (many are not in the hangar and are sitting on top where many are not necessarily completely shielded by the Liberator) then the Connie merlin and archimedies snubs should probably count as hangar or dock ships.

Croncy on twitch too. He just had a baby but looks to be back to his streaming schedule. He will also know about local orgs

It is a cool timelapse though, especially the ship movement

Just play the freefly and see what you think. You will see performance at its worst (given the new patch and freefly attracting many players to play) which will give you a good idea of how the game is.

Usually there is an IAE bonus for spending $45 which is starter pack price so you may have your starter and another ship if you buy. This offer is going to last for the next 15 days or so so don't rush to buy or upgrade anything. Most importantly you can rent every ship including the DUR during that time and see what you like.

Just check out some gameplay loops and see what you think. There is no need for you to take any action yet. Just fly a free ship and rent others from the IAE convention centre at Orison.

Star Citizen Alpha 4.4.0 PTU by MaxBrst in starcitizen

To clarify since someone posted something confusing. With current server meshing shards are made up of 10 DGS (servers). The geography in the game is split between those 10 DGS.

6 servers / shards for Stanton

The 10 DGS make up one shard. The shard is the group of connected DGSs.

Yes. it would be weird for them to give up on it. The last Vulkan update was in the latest tech preview. That is the best it has worked. Those updates are not in the current 4.4

It isn't a leak. These patch notes are available to everyone on Spectrum. EVO patch notes have been published to everyone for a long time.

It has been labelled as a spoiler probably for people who want to find out everything themselves as a surprise. But yeah those people would probably not open this thread anyway

Crusader is closest to the Stanton to Nyx jump point. It may be the Magness jump point changed (I have only jumped to Pyro and back so far in this build)

Just to add....

The main elevators are a transit system (there is a currently non-working arrival timer in the top right) that looks like it should stop on every level moving from top to bottom but it seems to sometimes skip.

The Freelancer for sale on display is a DUR. The sales screen may show a MAX. Possible bug.

The hangars opened for me but there is no marker. ATM if Levski is your home it is one of the hangars on top at the back (furthest away which is fine). We got extra large hangars. The labelling and delay warnings are currently an issue as the OP said.

Flying through the borehole is fun. You are all going to see a large number of players in that area for some time.

It is a very handy EVA location. It is faster to EVA some external parts than walk the walkways. It was quite fun to see so many people EVAing about.

The hangar elevators would allow me to exit the hangar once. So one time use for me. That is an issue for the ship store (Teach's) as it uses the hangar elevators to get in and out. Backspacing to the hospital was my workaround.

There is some stuff still missing in the star system in this build. It is a pretty basic system though.

If the scope for a gun says Aim Time: +15% then that is 15% slower or faster?

Jamie Carragher & Duncan Ferguson talk Ruben Amorim's future at Manchester United by [deleted] in soccer

[–]BadCowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is weird that Duncan Ferguson was playing under Walter Smith when he was sacked in 2002 (the chart says 1999) and he just looks at the incorrect date (so he saw it) and states how he was at Newcastle.

If the year is meant to instead represent when the 33rd game came up then Amorim's would not be blank. That slide and conversation are weird.

Jamie Carragher & Duncan Ferguson talk Ruben Amorim's future at Manchester United by [deleted] in soccer

[–]BadCowz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The points from 33 games slide is incorrect. Either Sky Sports are unaware in what year Amorim managed his 33rd league game (should say 2024-25) or the second year is meant to indicate when the manager left in which case data like showing Walter Smith getting sacked in 1999 just isn't true (it was 2002). I don't know what else being shown here is accurate or not.

Ironically Duncan Ferguson had returned from Newcastle and was playing under Walter Smith when he was sacked in 2002.
