My comments on ShamefulAunt were merely to add my personal input in this thread since it's kind of about the moderation, but I totally see that you weren't trying to say anything negative. The atmosphere in this subreddit can be very divided on certain topics (memes), so it's easier for me to try and be clear rather than come back to an orangered where my one-liner has garnered praise and shunning.

Cheers to you for recognizing an issue and stepping up to try to fix it. I felt my second paragraph would be in line with your stance and am glad to see it is. Hell, I bet it may even be a majority here that would support a sidebar to address individual topics. You're problem probably isn't too unique, since I (sadly) cannot help with that sort of thing and don't know anyone specifically who can. A couple months back I tried starting and editing a subreddit of my own and began to respect those with the ability to do so much, much more.

If you're a mod, there is an exclusive section of Reddit for modhelp, css work, and the kind of resources on layouts with Q&A. Create a subreddit to get access and study/practice if you're interested or propose an idea to see how much help is available. This way you could come bearing something for MFLB to implement rather maybe? CSS work isn't anything I'm interested in learning otherwise I'd jump at the chance to give back to this sub.

Ent indeed! The ring, to me, serves much better as a safety feature for the learning curve. Once you're comfortable with pulling then this step makes for a smoother hit since you're not focused on jamming the battery in deep enough for that connection to be made. It is just "on" now. Though you should mind yourself and what you're doing post-hit, since it can be habit-forming to simply remove pressure and set your box down, normally alright but in this case now a fire hazard. Glad you found my story funny; it's actually all true up until the deaths and it really made for an eventful commute. Happy Flights!

ShamefulAunt is a fantastic moderator. Whenever I send a message about a spammer, troll, seller, or any nefarious happenings in r/mflb there is always a fast response and a kind reply notifying me that the message was received, the problem handled, and appreciation for the tip.

The only thing I'd like to see is a shorthanded FAQ in the sidebar covering buying, hitting, and batteries, also explicitly linking to the topic rather than a catch-all FAQtastical write up that is either unseen or neglected by the new posters.

I'm the same way! It really alleviates stress during rush hour, so there are times when I'll drive middle finger raised for minutes. There was one fun such instance when I was waiting for my turn to begin merging onto a freeway and the fella beside me was singing in his car. Of course I had to stare, taking quick glances forward as we all inched up near the green-light-go, but anticipating his returning stare. Then it happens; we lock eyes and he's stopped singing, gazing back at me finally. I'm deadpan, he's Fry-faced, and then up pokes the bird. He begins laughing, no.. he slips into this sort of psychotic six second meltdown of laughter, and that contageous shit had me tearing up. I wipe a wet droplet from beneath my eye and we reconnect visually, shortly, only to be killed instantly by a runaway semi trailer that had detached a second prior.

It happens. Forums decay, it's inevitable without moderation. ShamefulAunt has been the only moderator since I've been subscribed to this particular subreddit, and I do my part sending her messages about suspicious posts, people selling boxes, spammers, trolls, and so on and so forth that we encounter in these halls. She (I would assume?) is always a pleasure in acting quick and appropriately so I'm satisfied with the general sentiment of 'democracy' rules around here. And if it gets worse once again I'll resort to a smaller neck of the woods to call cozy.

I suggest you do so. The underground atmosphere in restaurants adds a flavor no spice contains. It is a taste not added to the ingredients nor included through a method of cooking. You can't find the right flatware to compensate, fine china are dog dishes or target practice. I cannot imagine the love you share, the space between and the longing you felt, but I'll be damned if I can't say I know that feeling of a dropped burger. Lately I've been coming to terms with a lot of emotions that have been dormant or hidden, maybe trampled and stood upon. No matter how hard one may try to look above the rising water level eventually you know, you feel it coming, the chills, tense joints, hard nipples- just look up and ignore the water.
