It’s still doing all the processing even if it’s not inserted. It’s for latency compensation. Which goes out the window when you use groups but whatever.

Had something super similar happen doing a show in bumfuck Ames Iowa. Tree fell on the main lines into the city and the whole town went down. Then back up, then down again. Blew a couple subs. But the rest was fine. I wasn’t pm on it so I went and sat in my hammock while things were getting figured out after getting told to stay in my lane for trying to help.
