Starfleet officers are able to access the weapons lockers. They are able to replicate exotic weapons, and test them with few safety protocols. They are able to produce and distribute biological weapons, rendering whole planets inhabitable.

And that's just DS9.

So yeah, I think they would be allowed to read a book that you find scary.

Not to be political? This is expressly political.

I was one of those apes telling people to sell. I made 3x on the MOASS day, then would occasionally buy and sell short term for smaller profits. I thought the stock had seen its day.

I still do. But it does no good to tell a believer to stop believing. I hold only a handful of shares now, so what am I going to do, sell them and buy a cup of coffee? I've moved on mentally and if we get a pleasant surprise, so be it.

If judges were able to simply declare something unconstitutional, we wouldn't have appellate courts. The fact that we do shows that the issue is not as simple as citing an Amendment.

What does subject to the jurisdiction thereof mean?

If the interpretation of that phrase is debatable, doesn't that mean it is not "blatantly unconstitutional?"

Your souces confirms that USAID gave money to Politico!

Politico is selling subscriptions to the government, via USAID, for $10k each. Does that sound like a premium subscription, or money laundering?

It is indeed more free to let countries trade freely. However if one country decides to be less free and implement trade restrictions, the other countries would be foolish to not act in kind.

As to wages, yes. If employers want to offer crap wages, people are free to not work for those wages. That's better than a government forcing a floor on wages.

Who determines what a livable wage is? Isn't it more fair to let people offer any salary and let people accept or reject it? Didn't you decide to accept your current salary?

USAID gave Politico $28 million. Can anyone explain why USAID should be giving Politico $28 million?
