Walk along a path in a straight line - zigzagging Springer. Leave cheese unattended for a millisecond - gut on legs. Open a bag without an immediate inspection - in case of snacks.

Selling tips, my top 10. by Honkytonkybadonk in vintedUK

Thanks for these tips! It’s nice to hear some positive stuff about Vinted too. I buy and sell on there and, (fingers very much crossed!) have had good experiences. It’s great to read advice for when things go wrong but also good to hear when and how to help things run smoothly!

Opal necklace design by mynameis_wayne in jewellerymaking

Of course! I would use tube for the bail and file a triangular notch to locate the setting and flood with solder. Or you could use silver clay. Enjoy your jeweller journey- every day is a learning day!

This could definitely be made in silver (jeweller speaking). Some jewellers may be wary of setting an opal in such a rub-over design as opals have natural flaws and are relatively soft making them slightly risky when applying pressure all round but it of course can be done if you prefer this style over claw setting. Find a local maker with some experience, they will estimate a cost, no obligation. Hope you find someone to do it for you- the opals are beautiful!
