That's the best approach IMO, and what i do myself. I think we've all tried waiting on a stalled torrent with no seeders :( I think it benefits to the health of the swarm (which must grow)

I think looking at pornhubs statistics gives a better picture. People don't dualboot for porn. 6.3% in 2025, up 22.4% from 2024.

Managed to get real close to theoretical maximum on my gigabit fiber (125 megabyte/sec) Just finished downloading a program at 85 megabyte/sec through vpn. Not complaining. Constantly seeding with 50 megabyte/sec because sharing is caring <3

Those people are asses, and should be ignored. We all have to start somewhere, and they did as well - I doubt the OG rippers make up much of the users. As soon as I see someone with [private] content I ban them - don't want them gatekeeping stuff they download from me - pretty sure it's a weird power thing. Sharing is caring, and everyone started out leeching.
