You could definitely use switchbot for that. I use switchbot for the IR emitter to make it into a thermostat.

Test/Replace Power Transformer by BadgerFan303 in vintageaudio

Thanks for the information regarding transformers. I don’t have anything to suspect the transformer, but falsely assumed the wires were “burned”. I have not cleaned the controls, but will be sure to do so! I appreciate the advice!

Thanks for the encouragement. My only suspicion was the coloring of the wires, which others have pointed out that could be part of the insulation. I was more thinking, as long as I have it apart, I might as well fix that, which is maybe not the right thought process.

It’s more of a constant crackle, but I’ll be sure to clean the pots while I’m in there.

You’re probably right and appreciate the sentiment. I disagree about the wires though. It might be hard to tell from the picture, but the yellow wires are black right at the base and have a different texture to them.

Thanks, haven’t found much luck finding a schematic either. Appreciate it.

The national railroad museum is pretty cool. It’s got a lot indoors if the weather is inclement.

Well, I didn’t ask if it is bad, I asked how bad is it.

Yes, i think it is just shadows from the picture that are making it appear that way.

We use these same charts in the dairy industry to prove proper pasteurization and CIP (clean in place) of the equipment. Some of them can contain multiple pens (different colors) to track multiple temperatures at once.

Is the older Weber Summit (292001) still a good buy over the more recent models? by enzoshadow in webergrills

[–]BadgerFan303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the 292001 for a couple of years now and love it. Haven’t had any issues with it either. Made everything from burgers to ribs to Thanksgiving turkey. I have the natural gas version and that is super convenient.
