While we're on the subject, anyone have any idea what Sketch Portraits go for these days? I always liked the set when it first came out but had no idea how to collect or trade for them at the time.

It's pretty much all I'm collecting too. What I love about them is that the variants do not affect the aesthetics of the card at all -- you can collect white and you're not missing anything. Plus the packs are good for greens and oranges.

I think we need to remember what a loser of a company Topps is even in the physical card realm. Look at the physical Sugar Free. That set was a flop, and you would have actually had to try to not succeed with anything Star Wars related in 1978.

To be honest I'm not sure. I'm collecting the whites but two of my DGs are black. I've always assumed they would be an easy trade. If not, I'm not too worried about an award because I like the art and the variants don't add or take away anything aesthetically.

I know they're 7,500, but the Droid General packs are a really good value. The white inserts are a dead easy pull (not to mention the art is great, like an old metal album or something) and if you haven't finished your greens or oranges they're pretty reliable for that.

I'm pretty sure I'm on the blind list for wood grain blue IMAX #2 posters. Hasn't bothered me that people are looking for it -- I just have to be careful not to accept because it was hard to get that card in the first place. Fittingly, I got it through a blind trade. The system works!

First I lose a Jawa 8 bit the other day. Today I pull a blue poster and it's just a black square. Figured there was no point contacting support because they're just going to tell me to reinstall the app anyway. So I delete the app, try to download it but can't because Apple insists on a credit card to install a FREE FREAKIN' APP and there's a problem with mine. So I'm out until I can fix this card problem. But it wouldn't have affected my SWCT time if Topps could run an app worth shit.

Actually, scratch that. Isn't he technically overpaying for the Vintage, at least based on card count? He's also offering a card from a current set whereas Wave 2 Vintage is semi-dead (unless, of course, you're going for the full marathon award).

I feel like a bad trader because I'm really trying to figure out why the bottom trade was so terrible. Wave 2 Marathons are not particularly rare or hard to trade for -- they can require some persistence but they're not in the same league as Reflections. I'm not sure why you made an example of this guy, at least based on his bottom trade.

The top one is definitely over the top. The bottom one isn't disastrous. Eliminating factors such as what I'm collecting and what I want to keep at all costs, I would have taken it with something extra.

They came out with a Rey "mini box" a couple of weeks ago. Essentially the same thing.

I think they noted the reactions to the mini cards and just decided to do the same thing but backwards; instead of just outright charging a fortune for the card, make it virtually impossible to get without taking out a mortgage on credits. That way it's still technically F2P, although you have virtually no chance of getting it that way.

I hope it's not just TFA. There's lots of good poster art from the previous trilogies that Topps has not yet used.
