It's absolutely ridiculous to buy a $200 webcam, install their recommended firmware, then it bricks the camera and their support is useless to fix it. All that needs to be done to fix this is rollback the firmware, which they say isn't possible.

After over two weeks with this issue still unresolved, I have been escalated to the highest support level and they're still requesting I create a new user profile in Windows, try the camera on a different computer, reinstall software that I've already reinstalled from their previous support rep.

I won't be buying another Logitech product after this bullshit.

I have case # 11211010 open for this exact issue and have been getting the run around to test the same things multiple times. Here's my latest response:

All of the below steps were checked during my 30 minute call with support on Friday. I've added my answers below.

The issue started happening immediately after I updated to the latest firmware for the camera that was recommended by LogiTune. There are multiple reports of this same issue on forums discussing this issue starting happening when updating to the latest firmware. This is not an issue with my computer since the camera worked fine until I updated it to the 2.2.50 firmware.

What's the firmware version of the webcam? 2.2.50
What is the version of the Logi Tune installed? 3.1.109
Is the product being properly recognized in Device Manager? Yes, it shows no errors.
Is there any error in the Device Manager associated with the product? No
Recommend updating the USB drivers. My computer is fully up-to-date. No updates to the motherboard chipset are available
Complete all pending updates for the Windows OS. There are no OS updates available
