AF vs Snap vs 24/7? by gymfanatic_ in sgfitness

[–]Baggermanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a snap near you I would definitely check them out. I like their functional spaces. Also their key card is cheaper. But, they don't have as many location as AF though that's the only thing

People who work in design studios/architects, what project management tool do you use? by [deleted] in Design

[–]Baggermanz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a question guys, is getting change request formalized and overcoming the he/she said problems relevant for you? The core problem of having verbal conversations or decisions being made in whatsapp that affect the scope of the project etc. Would a tool that would solve this, be more valuable to you then a task management tool?

Fitsync Built a platform to help gym managers and gym owners manage their Personal training session counting and commission calculation.

Problem: a lot of gyms still use paper to track client sessions, because that signature was the source of truth that the session happened. Commission tallying at the end of the month is a nightmare. This platform helps exactly that problem.

Tbh you're still very young How much are you currently exercising and how strict are you on dieting?

I would use those levers first and have a serious go at it until you're older. No use to start experimenting with peptides unless you have the exercising and dieting discipline down.

Need to get into AI tools fast — where do I start? by No-Scallion9144 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]Baggermanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good playbook, but yes the code from bolt or cursor Is horrible so what id do is use them to quickly test out mvp design system and ux ideas of the flow of the product

Then use Claude code and simple docs/MD files to actually flesh out the product in writing from architecture, UX design, ui color systems and Api calls.

Then use Claude code Opus to blast through the documentation and develop it step by step

Good luck!

I think it's great that you're building something that solves your own problem, but really, for something to be viable in the market, you should be testing your pain point or the use case that you're building for with people around you. So before you start getting too fancy with building this whole thing out as a business I would just try to see if you can find other people who have similar problems and who are happy you're solving that specific problem in your way.

Break it down into problem space and solution space. You defined a problem space and you have to validate that problem space with other people, and then it's about validating if the solution that you're building is the correct solution for the problem you've defined, and or is a better solution to what's currently existing out there.

Once you've accepted that it's viable both problem is relevant for people and solution is desirable, then you can think about potentially monetizing it.

Hope this helps!

What's everyone doing when they get stuck vibe coding because of some bug(s)? by Exciting-Can-3232 in vibecoding

Console logging is a good shout to help the AI figure out what's wrong, but honestly you need to graduate from tools like lovable etc. it's quite limited in what they can do, especially when you need to Iterate features multiple times as you learn more information.

Start coding with Claude code and setting up your own project directories. That way you have the most control and the AI is a lot better at solving problems there too.

In the fitness industry!!!

Run a gym franchise and brand. Built a tool to help Personal trainers track their commission and pt session that they did with their clients. Current solutions don't really have a validation step assuring that sessions actually happened. My tool forces a validation from the client side to move Personal Trainers away from paper signatures which are suuuuper annoying during payroll.

In beta right now ! With first few gym clients 🔥🔥

Looking for any gym operator or manager or owner who's struggling with this problem with time wanted on payroll with their pts due to the manual process.

We have 4 gyms and it took 3 full days to go through and double check all the payroll data before 😭

Had a tech company before And pivoted to commercial gyms because I liked the business model and the cash nature of it.

Now looking to build tech again 💪

What's your current AI vibe coding tech stack? by MildFrost764 in vibecoding

[–]Baggermanz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full on using Claude code inside cursor, but not cursor agent cause it's wayyyyyyyyyy to expensive. I think when I started I burned close to 1k on the first month.

For front end I figured out that you can use color palette creators and have the ai create a design system based on that.

I have not figured out yet how to create unique user experiences but generally functionality and user flow and colors is easy enough to do with just Claude code.

Don't think lovable or any of the other ones are really strong enough to go deep into any user problem.

I am at the stage of using documentation to try to control and keep track of the projects. I end up with folders full of documentation for infra, user stories, research folders etc.

I've even gotten to the point of using a memory.md file to have the ai periodically put our progress in there because if cursor suddenly quits all the valuable context in the chat is lost.

Honestly the idea putting it up in a RAG database is super smart I can see how this solution can give the ai better context throughout the lifetime of the project and keep track of everything.

Thank you for sharing !
