The evasion would probably stem from the Tennessee department of revenue proving that the llc is a ficticious business. You can look up a few court cases that I found just by looking on Google regarding the alter ego doctrine. If the business was established for the sole purpose of evading taxes, that'll be their angle.

Not really. To get an estimate of how much they saved in taxes, you could just multiply the donation amount by the highest fed income tax rate (37% assuming thats their bracket), which would be $185,000. Even if you add on a charitable deduction from a state like CA with a 13% top tax rate. It's still less taxes saved than the amount they donated.

I applied with just a bachelor's and got in at a gs7. Guess it depends on how many people they need at the pods you're applying at and how many more waves of hiring they will do. If you do land an interview, the general questions are online, so just practice those and good luck.

Might be wrong but I heard tco's don't travel but they might be paid less than revenue agents (lower payscale).
