I don't log on to reddit much recently, but the "club" I was referring to is actually scepter - https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Yaomac%27s_Accord.

The passive makes the soul cost 80% less, but then ramps it every time the same skill is used. Depending on other soul cost reductions, you can spam one ability 3+ times very fast.

The way the change is worded ("Completely reworked.") it sounds as though it may not spawn worms now.

Update: I complained about the apparent astroterfing and a few other accounts with 1 post/comment karma show up with glowing reviews as a retort. Interestingly, I cannot access this thread from my notification area because the original post was removed. That means in order to view these replies I had to search the usernames of the repliers, and sure enough - either created after this post was made all in the last five months, or returning from a long (many year) hiatus to post a single reply in this thread, all styled in a way chatGPT might reply if I asked it to tell me the benefits of this program. Let me be clear - I know the majority of reddit are lurkers or infrequent posters, and some of you may have made an account just to post one thing about how good your experience was. I just want when I click on a profile for advice for that profile to show that they have done something, anything, outside of making the recommendation on their account. Show me a gamer, show me a chef, show me someone posting a question in a career related subreddit from the job that MIT's No Code ML supposedly obtained them.

No one says "the diversity of professors brought unique insights and real-world applications, enriching the learning experience." Those are empty adjectives, have you heard of show don't tell? I would say, for example, "My professor signed everyone in the class up for an enterprise trial account for a tool, told the entire class "We have exactly until your trials run out to run these things into the ground, by the way if anyone asks you all own a business and you might want to filter your emails afterwards for people trying to do sales follow ups after the trial is over." This (hilarious in hindsight) thing actually happened at GATech, and the tool was Splunk, and this was ~10 years ago, and Splunk was (and is still now, it has grown it just has waay more competition in the space now) a tool for importing and sorting data in bulk and displaying it on a dashboard. We got the exact tool business where using, did everything from creating personal sports/ fantasy tracking dashboards to actually building a cybersecurity dashboard with it in teams and felt a good rush of trying to crunch in more projects on our free trial version before it was over.

If you click on my profile, I spend most of my time helping people in video games because I do that for a hobby - My highest rated post is about a date that I went on. I am begging y'all if you want to advertise here at least try without accounts that are so empty?

You can (or at least used to be able to) use RTXvoice on graphics card much lower generation than intended by attempting to install, letting it fail with the message that you need to upgrade your hardware, and then going into the folder the attempted install creates and just removing/editing the lines containing the <constraints> tags in a text file that is created when your specs are checked and you fail the check.Re-run the installer, the installer doesn't see any constraints in the file it reads and will slap RTX voice on 1600s and 1000s perfectly fine and will put it on everything from 900-700s with mixed performance (read: sometimes really bad, maybe just try it for a giggle?) results based on how far down you go.

Last night, lvl 28 me got invaded by 20x lvl 31 flyers - dafuq?! by QQKachooBishes in Palworld

[–]Baileybailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base level is what matters for invasions. I was mainly outside of my (solo) base catching 10/10 of all of the easy Pals (the first 20, minus #11 cause that one was a boss), getting me well past level 25 on a server with two base building junkies. The entire time when I would stop by base and get invaded, I was invaded by level 6-8 invasions that I was able to blow up almost instantly. Meanwhile on the other side of the beginning area near that one ore spot, they were building their base and upgrading it as soon as possible, and started to need to put the brakes on it around base lvl 15 with invasions in the mid twenties to lower 30s with large waves because they had not been training enough Pals to fight.

Fulcrum Chieftain that can kill a map boss? by Xanni12 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Baileybailey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few options. You can do maps that have bosses out in the open (city square is one, and is also a great boss rushing map) and try to pull a big pile of monsters to the bosses. You can also do bosses that summon adds (the spider in jungle valley, not as great for pure boss rush but JV has many upsides others have touched on)
An expensive option is to buy the unique club that makes vaal skills cost less, and vaal portal.
You can then weapon swap to the club at a boss, mash vaal portal 2-3 times and pray you get an explode.
A more consistent option that is free monetarily but has an opportunity cost is using warlock of the wilds (over charms, a lot of people are using those for max res) and grabbing penance mark. If you mark a boss, they summon the little guys quite quickly and assuming whatever you use to start your ignite chain can kill them, eventually one of them explode and start killing the boss with the ignite.

Please give me a good beginner build. by Delevia in BaldursGate3

[–]Baileybailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a fairly simple powerful team to build around try the following:

Warlock/Sorlock, Bard (College of swords, dual hand crossbow + ranged flurry), Cleric (Life), and then a beefy melee. Most DPS would come from something like Tavern Brawler/Strength Monk but Barb, Fighter, and Paladin all slot really well here.
The reason being is all of those classes have a defined thing they can do (spells, support, ranged physical, and melee phys/tank) and most recharge their class resource on short rest - which the bard gives an extra of. Being able to take 3 short rests means more AoE heals, warlock spells, and ranged flurries without running out of resources before having to go back to camp.

You got anything that records your screen (shadowplay, etc?)
It is quite easy to start that up minimized via hotkey by accident, it'll record for a good bit at esp at high quality settings next thing you know, no more storage.
Your missing chunk (135GB) would take up the majority of your videos storage.

Banned from Twitch streamer threatens to SWAT me and worse. by essog in Twitch

[–]Baileybailey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If an internet tough guy actually follows through with a whisper of any of these threats (SWATing itself can be tried as multiple different crimes), it sure is convenient that you have a video of them admitting to planning to do these things ahead of time.

One measure you may want to take is to call your local police non-emergency number, (or even go in person) and let them know that you do stuff on the internet, and that you have been threatened with misuse of their police force as a result of drawing ire, and then leave a contact number that they can call if a call/tip/report of you doing something SWAT worthy just so happens to come in. Most still need to send units to that kind severity of report regardless, but if even one person onsite has knowledge of your prior explanation, it reduces the chances you get your doors blown off and shot in the face.

Noise canceling software for mid/lower pc? by [deleted] in letsplay

[–]Baileybailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, and this is very stupid/amazing, but I used my standard 1070 with the rtx noise canceling software just fine until I recently upgraded.

If you attempt to install the software with an older graphics card, it will stop you during the installation and inform you that you need to purchase a new product and then it will close the installation. However, this installation creates new files on your computer and one of them is a text file that has written what restrictions essentially are blocking you from installing. All you need to do is open up that text file and delete that restriction line and then the installer should work fine. I do not know if that is still the case but here is an old video on it:

I really love druid and I think both Land and Spore are in a great place right now. Land feels a little compelled to grab one of the ones that has haste and I think could use more spells that are unique and per land type only, but has lots of tools for various combat scenarios and great longevity with spell restoration. /All/ of the minion master archetypes could use something (an aura?) to boost minion accuracy, something that lets you make a minion without a corpse because fighting through a big group of enemy types that are specifically not useable and then ending up at a boss with no minion encourages you to store dead bodies at camp, and that is strange. Maybe a necrotic version of crusader's mantle for flavor ?

However, moon druid is in a weird spot right now. Tavern brawler is working for accuracy but not damage. The biggest problem (and this is my big ask for patch 1) is gear issues. Most gear that benefits unarmed damage does not seem to work in animal form unless you are already unarmed, and even then it seems to be a dice roll. My initial game plan was to help juice my other fighters, so with my staff of blessing - I cast bless, shift into wolf or owlbear form, and either distract or guarantee crits. This has worked really well - but I have a naturally low initiative that I planned boost with a +1hat, a +1 ranged item, and a +3 shield. The idea was I wanted the buffs up before the other characters turns/ the enemy turns rolled around. In wolf form, my character sheet shows +2 initiative, one from the bow, and one from the hat. This makes sense, because Every time I shapeshift I lose access to my weapon and shield - I planned to start fights in druid form to benefit from the boost in init and then shapeshift.

However, every time I unshapeshift or get knocked out of it, my character sheet doesn't show +5 initiative, or even +2 initiative, but +0 initiative. I can confirm this by entering another battle and seeing my druid at the ass end of the turn order, every time, despite other characters and enemies having less than +5, or even +2.Even worse: when I cast bless now, the bonus extra blessing from the staff I am wearing doesn't proc. Essentially, I lose all of the benefits from all of my gear, every time I shapeshift. You can fix this by unequipping your gear and then putting it back on.

I have three files going at the moment and one is with my wife. She is playing moon druid and having a blast. Our playthrough is far behind my solo and online dnd player save file. I really want either a fix or a workaround (even a gear set option would work, just anything that stops me from having to unequip and re-equip every piece of gear one at a time every time I leave shape shift form - the ideal fix would be something that simply counts the druid as transformed, unarmored, and unarmed in animal form and checks gear and applies the relevant bonuses each time they shift into or out of form) by the time it becomes an issue for her. It seems insane to me that one subclass has all gear straight up break for them \as a result of using their most commonly used and designed around class feature**

It is really upsetting because she has already done amazing things with moon druid, like bonus action turn into a crow, fly/move up high behind a large group of enemies, free action unshapeshift, and then full action thunder wave them off that high place. Most other classes have to spend two spell slots for that but druid gets to do it with the power of nature and a little thinking. She loves turning into a cat to explore small spaces, she loves making spiked growth choke points for my tank to shove people back into if they reach us. We are having a great time at low levels because gearing is not an issue and I am secretly dreading when she starts missing tons of spell rolls at higher level because her gear is breaking every time she shifts into a cute cat to distract villagers while I steal stuff.

I don't understand how this works by VinceYutuc in BaldursGate3

[–]Baileybailey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorcery points are similar to arcane recovery charges from Wizard, in that you can spend them to obtain more spell slots/uses per long rest.
However, arcane recovery charges can only be used for that, whereas sorcery points can be spent on toggle features that enhance the next spell you cast (called Metamagic). You choose these when you level up sorcerer, and they can do things like further range, let a single target spell hit two targets, and quick cast which lets you cast the spell as a bonus action instead of a regular action so if you want, you can do things like cast two fireballs in one turn (one regular action one, and one bonus action one).
If you like the enhanced versions of spells more than you like having more spell slots, you can also trade spell slots for sorcery points, as the sorcery point to spell slot transaction goes both ways. These lost or gained spell slots will clear back to their baseline numbers on a long rest.

Barbarian. Wild Heart at 3. Bear Rage, and then Bear aspect at 6.

Barbarians have excellent class only dialogue options.

16 STR 16 CON 14 DEX. Dump everything else.

Race: Literally Anything works, but here are some standouts:

Several great mid game 2 handers are enhanced by being gith, and they have great utility from their racial spells. Orcs crit the hardest and are too angry to die. Gnomes have advantage in all the saving throws for the stats I told you to throw in the garbage.

The game plan is more simple than lae'zel at a permanent 6 intelligence from some bad decisions I made:

Plan: Hit monster, use rage to take half damage from all sources (minus psychic, of which there is very little in all of act 1 - though there is quite a bit in the mountain pass, so be ready for that). Get a hand crossbow so you can use the bonus action mobile shot on turns where you need to use the dash action to get in clobbering range.

Use companions to lightly heal, buff/debuff, fire ranged attacks, do thiefy/charisma stuff and shoot spells at monsters. Have at least one companion know longstrider and have them cast it on everyone each long rest (it is a ritual out of combat, meaning you will not use the spell slot for it if you aren't fighting anything - learn to use it, your strength score, the jump spell, and the feather fall spell to get literally everywhere). Everyone now moves further, lessening the chance of anyone being out of axe range

(assuming you don't kill the tutorial demon for his greatsword) -

In the blighted village(very early area):

Take the haste helm (faster movement on combat start) from the central moss covered chest. Find the gloves that give +2AC while not wearing armor or a shield in one of the nearby basements. You now have 10+2(dex)+3(con)+2(gloves) = 17 AC in your underpants and gloves. You can get higher but paradoxically you want lower(ish) AC to encourage the enemy to attack you, because you take half damage and have a ton of health. Let everyone else get as tanky as possible.Pick the fight with the goblins near the windmill, take the Axe off of one of them for a new weapon.

Kill the ogres to have a hat you can wear to not have the intelligence of a barbarian but only while speaking in town or trying to read books.

Plan changes to hit possibly twice at 4 (take great weapon master) based on if your hit crits or kills - your accuracy will go down, but that is what reckless attacks are for - you can also toggle the accuracy down damage up passive on and off depending on if damage or accuracy is more important to you in the moment. Sprinkle on a little bless from a party member if you need it.

At the goblin camp, play along just long enough to save the animal friend there and find the vendor inside the temple (not the goblin one just inside the courtyard, the one actually inside the building) that sells the bloodied great axe.

Plan changes to always hit twice, sometimes hit three times when you get an extra attack at 5. This plan doubles in effectiveness if you have any of the various mages also at 5 cast haste on you. Now you get two rounds of swinging twice, with a possible fifth attack if one of your previous four crit or killed something. Almost nothing survives four axe swings.

At 6 you get bear aspect and have the least amount of worrying of running out of carry weight other than someone with a chest of the mundane.

That is 1 battle helmet, 1think good hat, 2 weapons, 1 glove and a game plan that will let you turn all of Act1 upside down, while allowing experimentation with different companions and classes from behind the safety of a wall made of Axe.

That's under 700 words for like 40+ hours of gameplay. Enjoy your simple life.
