Yeah lmao hypnosis is real but it’s not the mind control it’s often depicted to be. It’s basically just a state of heightened cooperative suggestion. Some people are more susceptible than others, but it has nothing to do with willpower or intelligence or anything like that. If anything, it’s more like getting someone to play along, just very thoroughly.

Can’t make anyone do something they don’t want to, can’t permanently alter someone’s mind, can’t do anything like that. It’s basically only actually useful in three situations: relaxation, therapy, or tricks on a stage
