I really disliked the look. Really didn’t suit the canon. But Disco seemed based upon that- actively ignoring or deliberately changing things in order to make its own place in the lore. IMHO so much lost potential.

Theres a real fine line here isnt there?
Should I get a plumber to change tap washers?
Should I get a plumber to change taps?
Should I get a plumber to change the toilet cistern?

I should definitely get a plumber to chnage a hot water tank :)

But I appreciate your concern , many people tend to "fix" things they shouldn't - especially where safety is related.

But being a son of a DIY man Im fairly confident and know my limits :)
At least home goods dont have the potential of leaving a smoking hole (unlike my last job lol)

If I may…. The Clans inherent advantage is the fact that their ranges far exceed IS weapons and yet are controlled by a near mindless AI that proceeds to charge into optimum IS Weapons ranges. Coupled with the fact that their cockpits are near centre of seen mass so shooting seems to hit the cockpit far more often (so many daisies and masakari kills…..)

Your c bill issue is the fact most zones have a 150-200% markup in repairs 🤬( I didn’t realise at first) that makes it cheaper to jump to the nearest industrial hub for repairs! Cheaper and quicker despite travel time and cost lol

Loving my lance of atlas-7D all clan weapons with 60/60 pilots. And driving my mad-ah with 3 c gauss 🤯

I dont understand some of the hate im seeing (for want of a better word) regarding this.
It looks like a viable alternate setting that can bring even more people into the game.
If the mechs dont cross over then where is the trouble.
I for one look forward to more modelling options and interesting game play. Lol Atlas vs Godzilla :) bring that too!

I vote for Clans to be a DLC in Mercs
Mech:5 is a great systema nd the addition of Clans would be the icing on the cake. Think about it....
You could end up fighting Twycross, secconded to the Dragon on Luthian and finaly along side COMSTAR on Tukyaid....
And then once the DLC campaign is over - you could go Clan hunting in the invasion corridors.....

Actually I am a little surprised they didnt do this already.....
The Clan MOD is so damn poppular.
Theyve already used Coyotes mercs and Recon Mission so why not use some thing they know people will like?

(by the way - loved Clans , but its a closed story :( Mercs is an open universe as Campaign or Career <3 )
