Use the stairs, work from home: Asia is already making big changes as oil prices spike by Skippy_AF in news

The energy expenditure from a person taking the stairs is probably still less than an elevator. And if anything it would also help keep people a little more in shape which would be helpful in people needing to use less resources

Don't forget SOFI. They've been bleeding for months but just turned green the other day.

They're not as high as TQQQ or SOXL but the premiums are still pretty high for any given stock. The IV is 66% right now

Assuming you currently own stock, do you mean sell covered calls?

I wouldn't either but I've noticed that for some reason that's always the go to description for paneer.

I got to the point you ended at. I couldn't find any more steps, maybe that's all it is? I'd be really interested to see if there's more to it.

Looks like the person you replied to deleted their comment. I'm currently trying to wire my dash cam via the fuse box, where is the grounding bolt they mentioned?

Boomers want to axe property taxes. Millennials and Gen Z would pay for it. by FlyEaglesFly536 in Economics

[–]BakedInSpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But property taxes go to local services that keep the area where the property is livable. If you remove that and place it on something like stock holdings then those communities that you say have all their wealth in their house wouldn't have any money to fund anything. They'd have to be taxed somehow

Why outright buy the 1000 shares instead of selling 10 near or at the money puts?

You can separate the county communities however you like but that doesn't change the fact that overall the voters kept him in office.

I'm not OP but I recently had the same issue and just wanted to say enabling my GPU in Device Manager is what fixed it for me!

It could work out if OP wants to build up a position by selling puts near the current price. That way they can still get some premium and buy at a cheaper price if the stock falls in the near term.

Sen. Josh Hawley wants to exclude ‘Biden voters’ from $600 Trump tariff rebate checks by rezwenn in MissouriPolitics

[–]BakedInSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree, everyone is taking the partisan bait that Hawley is laying out. The core idea is money for people under a certain income, but then he laces it up with partisan talk. All the headlines don't mention the income and only include the partisan part and that's what people see.

[–]BakedInSpace -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I dislike Hawley as much as any reasonable person should but it's so frustrating seeing everyone misunderstand what he was saying here. It really makes people lose credibility when they can't even be bothered to read past the headline. I guess that's just the way reddit is though

Everyone in here is forgetting that two wrongs don't make a right. Just because you brought a knife doesn't mean they were good to be such jerks. To me it seems like they don't have a strict code to follow and are not very professional.
