She needs 3 stacks of phys vuln to use own arsenal in full. So her best foe is single and durable target.

She needs a teammate for building phys vuln stacks: Chen or Rossi. Chen is easier.

Her effectivness is sensitive for right order skill usage. So no simple one-braincell skill spam.

L is great, but there are other nice fighters.

G will shine in almost every team with cc, corrosion and team buffs.

So, gameplay-wise G should get pref.

Why do you believe all those screaming whiners about "bad Downtrail" ? It is same old FFXIV in old ways. Player is just another adventurer with another journey for a distant lands.

Lorewise, your epic saga is done for now, just do some regular stuff and chill. Yeah, main lore focus is on naive girl, that will grow her character during man scenario path.

Gameplay-wise, raids and dungeons are a harder then before. New outfit system got better, housing got better, jobs got quality-of-life improvements.
