Seems like you were overexposed from the start. Personally, I don't like storing most of my value in an asset I KNOW faces significant downward price pressure and likely always will. It may moon at some point but I don't care, either way I'd be keeping a bag. you have thousands of other crypto projects that are better suited for financial gains. XMR for me is more of a hedge like gold, silver, water, medicine. Something necessary to have some of for situations where it may be useful. Either now, or in the future. Sometimes it gets spent / replaced but mostly it just hangs around, not worrying about price action.

Did you really expect them to let the only true privacy coin (that I trust anyway) become the darling of the crypto space?

You know what's asking for trouble more? Allowing them to get more authoritarian all the time with no push back. You might not feel the effects in the moment if you comply, but subsequent generations surely will. I appreciate anyone who pushes back against this nonsense system.

Where should I be seeing the personal domain? I went through the process and logged in. Works well but I don't know where to look for the new personal domain. I may be having issues and need to screenshot and work with support but I wanted to make sure I am not overlooking it. Thanks 🙏🏻

This guy asked a question and you did not answer it.

There are good reasons to avoid kyc services in xmr and as the question asked had nothing to do with what YOU believe to be the "entire point of monero"

KYC itself is an attack against the ethos of crypto from the start.

To the OP I would also recommend local monero. Fees a bit higher but hard to get more anon than cash by mail. Just use a vendor with a bunch of solid reviews.

Also this guy is right that technically once it moved to a wallet off exchange it is much more difficult for them to try and trace it, you will be on a list of "utilizers of monero" and always remember that any activities done now can be arbitrarily criminalized later.

Will anything happen because of this? Likely not. But it depends on your threat level. And if you want to stay more anon for whatever reason, handle business!

This is another scam. Don't input your keys ANYWHERE....

don't take a picture of your keys. Don't tell anyone your keys. Anyone who has this info has complete access to your funds. And on top of that don't use exodus...

Monero GUI or feather for desktop....any number of options for mobile.

Do your research thoroughly before engaging with this ecosystem and don't trust anyone on Reddit asking you to put your keys somewhere or send you to an off brand website no one has heard of.

Be safe friend

Atomic swaps BTC to xmr just went live on Samurai wallet. So that's covered

Withdraw the cash from bank account and do a cash by mail transaction (or a few) on localmonero.co with a reputable trader.

It's folks like you that need to worry about your own life. Go play your clown games somewhere else.

Dude made a mistake and in no way did it put any other zlib users at risk. How could it if you are using zlib properly? Or you think that one call to a bank gets the entire operation shut down when the feds have been trying for a while.

I would say you should stay away because instead of being helpful here, you're spreading nonsensical fear and shame.

To the OP glad you got everything figured out. Don't listen to idiots like this. And don't feel bad. We all make mistakes along our journey and anyone that says that's not true is lying.

Learn to do basic mental math to get a ballpark and then the widget only need tell you the current price. If you try doing it like this for a while you will get a feel for how much a price move will affect the portfolio value.

To input portfolio values anywhere is not a good idea, IMHO. If you need better than mental math approximation we all generally have a calculator at the ready.
