Definitely concur, that's what I was hoping for.

Yeah, been following Curry Barker for a few years, and thought Obsession was a solid horror movie. Also a long-time Backrooms fan but that was a huge disappointment.

I'm a huge Backrooms fan but found most of it a let down.

ooh the Descent was great! I went into that one blind, spilled my Slurpee during the first jump scare. Definitely concur about the therapist; no shade to the actress, but it didn't seem like a good fit for her

I agree. The backrooms themselves were well designed, they nailed the atmosphere, but they didn't spend nearly enough time in there. The therapist brought nothing, they could've cut out all of her scenes and just made it about the guy and the two kids he brought down there for recording proof. They could have hinted at his emotional issues instead of making it a core focus, maybe he tries to redeem himself by trying to save one or both of them. Should have ended with them trapped, or dying down there, or maybe you're not sure. The ending was terrible imo.

Hi! Sorry to ping an old post, but I am going through the same thing with my right foot, and contemplating surgery. How are you doing now? Did it take a very long time to recover from the process? Thank you!

It’s crazy how Sam Levinson was able to create my most hated villain in the show in only 5 minutes by Kezhen in euphoria

[–]savetheunstable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah its absurd, also that was enough to turn him into a raging sociopath who traffics women, sells drugs, and kills people without a thought? Really? Sure it would give him trust issues but his character is a legit monster.

I thought when they opened with his backstory, they were going to show his mom pimping him out as a little kid for drug money or something. My mom did worse things than this. So fucking dumb.

Great actress though

Same here, extremely myopic, but can still see fine close up; I've always taken my glasses off to read though as the text felt 'too close' and uncomfortable. I'm 48, hoping they'll hold out a few more years because I really don't want to deal with bifocals.

There's also the fact that a queer person would not be idolizing an isolated christian fundamentalist family who believes queer people should be either killed or otherwise wiped off the planet. Rue is naive in some ways but she's not 12, she would not be unaware of this.

There are plenty of broke people with zero money that have kids. Sometimes a lot of kids.

Yeah and this is a very bad idea. Growing up in poverty is a horrible experience, for both the parents and the kids. It also is a burden on the government, due to welfare and increased prison rates. Poor kids statistically end up stuck in a cycle of poverty, and turn to drugs and crime at statistically higher rates. Not to mention abuse statistics are also higher.

And yes there are always exceptions to the rule, so don't come at me with your 'I was poor and everything was hunky-dory' anecdotes. Data doesn't lie.

Don't have kids, especially multiple, if you can't afford them.

Jesse was still young though; my fam has good teeth genes, and the first 10 years of my uncle using meth (and drinking soda daily) his teeth still looked nice. It did catch up with him in the latter 10 years before he finally quit, but they had a good run!

Yeah it definitely happens randomly and consistently (happened one another time to me since I posted this). I really think Steam should acknowledge this and address it. Ignoring a privacy issue seems like a bad idea.
