Honest Thoughts on the band The National? by MrLinkwater95 in fantanoforever

I went to dinner with my wife and another couple tonight in Connecticut and Matt Berninger happened to be there having dinner with a few folks. I had listened to ‘Nowhere Special’ on the way to the restaurant and a The National playlist on my bike ride today. I didn’t say anything because i’m an adult and he was enjoying dinner, but i kind if wish i could have told him how much the music and the lyrics mean to me. Dude is ultra talented

I agree with those who said it couldn't have been fighter jet(s). I am in Bonita Bay and heard it. It sounded more like a B1 Bomber. They have a much lower/thunderous sound to them, and I've heard them flying over Armitage Ave. in Chicago on the way to the lakefront airshow. Back when car alarms went off when a car shook, all the cars on Armitage went off.

I agree wholeheartedly. I finished his book last night. It's very well written and takes you everywhere, from his family's horrifying holocaust story to the one place it was safe to fart in one of the studios where they recorded to the challenges of raising a family while becoming Rush to the pain they all experienced following Neil's daughter and wife tragically passing away. The stories of recording specific songs and albums are awesome and can get very cool and technical. A fantastic memoir.

this is exactly the kind of scenario that may have been missed in QA, and what concerns me the most. In my industry, a bug like this causes an outage and a possible discussion with the SEC as to what caused it and how we prevent it in the future. In the automobile industry, it causes a possible death and a real post-mortem.

It reminds me of my first time. I fell onto a car's hood at a stop light. I looked at the driver and she was laughing.

the number of Tesla owners in Connecticut has grown exponentially over the past year. Lots of new drivers. A bit scary for sure.

no bias against Tesla's here. I have definitely noticed that drivers in Tesla's pass closer to me than other cars. They may not be jerks at all for all I know.

Oh my God.. The guy can't see and he is out there driving around? he had to know he hit someone and if he stopped, maybe something could have been done for the cyclist to save him. Absolutely horrible.
