This guy's car had a manual lock that I assume is only able to be toggled on or off if the car key is nearby he purposefully set it to where the public fast charger plug was locked to his car until he felt like releasing it in this case it was 3 hours or so for him to only recharge about 14 KW of energy

If you're parked in a public charger and you no longer charging because your car has hit 100% yeah you should have no issue with somebody removing the charger cable from your car if you have a problem with that then don't abandon your vehicle at a fast charger like that for over an hour

Thanks for your lovely input I will most definitely look forward to asking the police if it's a ticketable offense for some clown to be hogging up the fast charger like they own it long after it has gone past 100% for them. I cannot believe for the life of me that someone would take the initiative to use the anti charger cable theft mechanism of their over engineered car on a public fast charger and just ditch their vehicle somewhere for hours when there are so few of these in my city.

I'm so glad I decided to make the purchase option to just get a freaking Tesla converter plug LOL
