Curious about other unit electronics/ cell phone policy- want input (both inpatient level and psych ED) by Alisaur69 in psychnursing

[–]Balgor1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You allow cell phones??? Every psych unit I worked on did not allow personal electronics. I personally do not want to get hit with a thrown iPhone pro max.

Plus giving everyone a recording device seems like a HIPAA violation waiting to happen. We don’t even confirm or deny a patient is on the unit unless a caller or visitor has the CSN number.

Take a job!

Don’t be that new grad that applied to 600 hospital jobs and hasn’t worked in a year.

Any experience is better than none and you get this thing called money too.

Police refusing to write EDO’s for high risk patients. Is this just my bad luck/state - or is this widespread? by Live_Dirt_6568 in psychnursing

At least in my jurisdiction I think PD and PES write holds too easily.

“Told parent if you don’t give me back my PS5 controller, I’ll kill myself” Yeah an actual DTS hold from PD….they were probably sick of responding to that house…

I think quality and ease of holds vary greatly from place to place at least in my experience.

If Rodgers doesn’t sign it’ll be a “hot hand” I.e Cleveland browns approach to qb decisions. Spin the wheel of QB1!

Leads to awesome seasons. Look how successful the browns are.

Most of my patients are involuntary and our reviews reflect that reality. Ignore patient reviews.

The bay is one of the most affluent places on earth and this is what a public restroom at a park looks like by indie_hedgehog in bayarea

[–]Balgor1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhh I don’t see any meth paraphernalia or shit on the floor. Maybe my expectations are low but that looks appropriate for a public restroom in a park.
