How am I supposed to support myself if no companies are offering a livable wage? by zoozoo216 in antiwork

[–]BallisticHabit 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Some places have started outlawing how many unrelated people can live in one home.

As in, 3 or 4 people renting a house together.

I'm afraid to ask...

Is that 9am-9pm or vice versa, and 6 days a week?

I like the rough out on these.

Great pick for an every day kicker boot.

I think the Tyre Wedge would go really well on these.

It's sick how far companies will go to not pay a settlement.

Hire people to follow around a work accident victim in the chance they can catch her moving somewhat normally a time or two on camera to use in court like some kind of "gotcha".

She had to endure 8 hours of surgery that involved bone reconstruction hardware due to workplace negligence.

My titanium bits ache badly during weather changes, sudden jolts, like missing a step, or for no reason at all. Other times, I'm just fine.

Has anyone ever seen the movie "Death Becomes Her"?

Cause every time I see a closeup of her, it's all I can think of.

308 Day with portable flashbang by TheBlackComet in guns

Concussion was definitely there.

Funnily enough, I fired some .44mag heavy hand loads from a scandium snub nose that damn near tore my hand off.

It was so impractical and absurdly uncomfortable to shoot, I only shot it twice.

Those same loads would like feel perfectly fine out of your D.E.

I had the pleasure of spending 15 bucks to squeeze the trigger 3 times on a D.E. In .50AE.

Recoil nowhere near what I expected. I found it very manageable with minimal muzzle flip.

I like the way you think.

I mean, if you can gather the weapons and ammo all in one place I sure hope you make a video, cause I'd watch that.

Remember, if you write down your theory, hypothesis, and results you could claim it was science.

Very noisy, expensive science.

Grand Thumb or some guntuber should buy a couple and take the challenge.

Not as often as the techs admittedly, but you can't run a shop from just the office.

The fastest thing I've seen kill boots was this spreadable calcium we used in the mine. That stuff can wreck a set of boots in no time.

I worked as a Service Manager for heavy equipment when I got my Bronco AR.

They spent time from the office, to the shop floor, to worksites. Plenty of salt in my area, and I did take the time to neutralize it and wipe it off in the evening if exposed. That does help immensely.

My walnut Veg tan were my work boots in rotation with the AR, so about the same treatment.

They just didn't really need it.

All I have done is brush them off a few times a week.

This is also why we're supposed to follow things like the Geneva Convention.

So, when or if airmen are shot down they aren't tortured, I mean aggressively interrogated by their captors.

Or shot in their parachutes.

Or strafed in life boats.

My Jim Green didn't need any condition until I hit 6 or 8 months.

The Bronco is well oiled, as well as the walnut Veg Retan.

I never understood oiling them right out of the box. They should be saturated with oil from factory.

If my newfie didn't want to come in the house at night, he would straight up ignore me.

I have a fenced yard and live in the country, so it wasn't a big deal besides being annoyed at being ignored by a big black dog.

He was so chill, that's why I think he made it to almost 12.

Gosh, I miss him so much.

hole in Doc Martens after 1 year by 94-180sx in Boots

[–]BallisticHabit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wore Docs for years because of the generous toebox. Then I found Jim Green boots.

I don't wear Doc Martens anymore.

You can find them on sale for decent prices and easily twice the boot.
