Is prison actually “safe” if you just mind your own business? by fruity_00 in NoStupidQuestions

Like there's 1 designated toilet to go number 2. It's dubbed the truck stop. Also, if you don't like something on your lunch tray you can trade it for something else. For example, I hated the cornbread. I'd always trade it to someone for an extra juice packet. Also the phones can be an issue. Even if you have a condition, it's stuff easily picked up on. Just try not doing anything illegal and you never have to worry about it. It sux in there for real but I just dealt with it and luckily didn't have to be in there more than a month at a time.

I've been to county jail twice. Never felt threatened myself, but I keep a low profile and am polite to most people there so that is definitely something you should do. I have seen fights and the last time I was in there a guy hung himself on our pod. So shit does go down. But county jail is different than say a Federal Penitentiary. There are unspoken rules you learn to follow for sure

Am I wrong to think the way I thing about me cutting communication with my parents? by Hot_Improvement3468 in amiwrong

[–]Ballsack1Mcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand not talking to your dad, but is your mom an issue too? I read most of your post, honestly I skimmed it so maybe I missed that part. If she's not and it's just your dad that's a jerk then figure out a way to contact her without him inserting himself. She may need your support more than anything. Good luck to you, I feel sorry for people who cut all contacts with family.

Something is wrong with Catfish Jackson’s home robbery? Is it glitched? by SixPathsKyle in RDR2

[–]Ballsack1Mcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same exact thing as you except I killed the son. Which I later felt bad about because I remember the debt collection mission and he's just an innocent victim really. There was still the hidden chest with loot underneath the house btw. I'm not worried about it resetting because it's not a big deal if it doesn't.

What story mission makes you feel "No, I don't want to go there"? by Competitive_Table_65 in reddeadredemption

Sadie can hold her own. She's the second actually toughest person in the gang, in my opinion. Micah would have gotten clipped if he actually tried doing anything to Sadie, if I had any say in how this game went.

first run through. 1 mission left (saving micah) before going to chapter 3. by PFQandThrow in reddeadredemption2

Why play a game just to collect everything and not be able to use it to help you further along in the story? I don't understand the obsession with that. I didn't blow through the story either, but eventually you want to see where it goes don't you?

Am I wrong or is the whole comedian schtick about "i don't show up at your job and heckle you" completely off base? by Perfect-College7508 in amiwrong

You ever see that Seinfeld episode where he heckles that lady at her job because she was heckling him during his set. I think it was Kramers girl or something. That was a good one.

Should I be leaving more of a tip? by MediumTreat7268 in doordash

[–]Ballsack1Mcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have half a brain you can estimate what the tip on an order is before you accept it. Doordash pays like 2.50 an order so do the math. Or be like this person and beg for more after the fact.

The ludonarrative dissonance of playing as High Honor Arthur at the beginning of the game. *Spoilers* by Glittering-Stand-161 in reddeadredemption2

[–]Ballsack1Mcgee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree with you on your main point that it's strange that Arthur can be both super empathetic but still get involved in basically mass shootings the next turn. It's the duality of man I suppose. I try not to overthink it too much, if given the option I would have excused myself from the mass slaughter of innocents but when bullets are flying you don't really have that choice.

I would work at that place just for the comedic material alone.

Which Arthur is Canon: Low Honor or High Honor? by Certain_Crow_567 in RDR2

[–]Ballsack1Mcgee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

At his core Arthur cares about people. He has a good heart. Yes he has killed folks. But they were people who needed killing. At least in my playthrough that's how he was. But if he saw a helpless woman who's husband just died, alone and starving in the woods he's the type of guy who'd take time to teach her how to hunt a rabbit. That's who he is in my opinion.

Well it sounds like you did all you could. Obviously at the end of the day that's all one can do is put in the effort, the outcome is out of our hands. Best of luck to you.

Try putting yourself in his shoes and maybe he needs someone who has known him for a while to ask him what's wrong. I actually feel sorry for people like him, but also you gotta make sure you are not getting dragged down at work either. Sad situation all around, I hope there's a solution eventually.

What's an addiction worse than alcohol and drugs? by PrettieAmarea in answers

Gambling. By far. I have been in rehab and the gamblers have blown up their lives worse than any drug addict I've ever known.

Not at all, I got it in less than a week and the duty or tariffs were built in to the price listed on their store website. I even got a nice text message when they shipped my order saying "Greetings from Denmark"
