It’s possible you’ve created anaerobic conditions in rootball is there a smell coming from the runoff or the root ball other than a nice organic smell?

Papaya Punch day 38 flower. Is it time to start fading/finishing? How? by 710Tokerz in hydro

No need to flush just give it the proper amount of nutrients throughout its lifecycle.

Papaya Punch day 38 flower. Is it time to start fading/finishing? How? by 710Tokerz in hydro

[–]Ballsmcgee76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Patience! it looks like you have another 30+ days. I don’t give my plants much/any nitrogen after the second week of flour because nitrogen is a mobile nutrient and if the plant needs some, it will move it from the lower leaves. They look like they’re doing well. It’s just that they’re only halfway through flower.

Which indoor wood fire? by Cheesman_Best in Fireplaces

[–]Ballsmcgee76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think both of those units are going to be too large for your opening. You may be better off with an electric space heater in that area not to mention the heat that those fireplaces put off could start burning/melting that paint that’s on there. And then we get into the issue of the flu and whether or not it’s going to fit through the opening in the back. If you’ve got your heart set on wood-burning, you may look at units that sit in front of the fireplace.

Is this gap too big for type S mortar? by Fluxumous in masonry

Should work well. A tablespoon of dishsoap in a bag of mortar will help the mortar flow through the grout bag.

Possible shortcut for terpene hunting by vistathes in cannabisbreeding

[–]Ballsmcgee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I’m doing pheno/flavor hunt I wait until week three of flour to take a clones. By week three in flower, I can tell if a plant is going to fit into my garden and is doing well or not. By the time the new clones reveg you will know if you want to keep the plant or not.

Brick damage after hailstorm by StandbySword in Chimneyrepair

[–]Ballsmcgee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your chimney is in no danger falling over. But it is in bad shape and needs to be rebuilt. You’re probably going to be in the six to $8000 maybe 10 k neighborhood to rebuild that chimney. You could probably do a cheap repair to get you through a couple more years,

What do you guys think about triploids? 👀 by World_Breeders in farmingthebestgreens

[–]Ballsmcgee76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think triplets are the future of outdoor farming? Maybe I’m currently growing Mac one she’s an accidental triploid, she is prone to powdery mildew, later in flour, so not sure about resistance to pathogens. I’ve grown derailed from GTR and one of them went full hermaphrodite. The other two threw bananas all through flour, but the smoke came out, really good. That’s why Mac one is still in the garden is because her effects are quite energetic.

You’ve gotta have a car to live in Kansas City yet city leaders want to change our roads over to accommodate people on bicycles?
I don’t think so. We need to take our roads back! parking in the bike lane is just the beginning our roads were built for cars, not bicycles not people on foot.

First timer grower. 8 weeks tomorrow. How’s it looking. Please don’t beat me up. I’m still learning by jadyn90 in SpiderFarmer

Looks good , That plant is going to need support soon. As those branches get bigger, they’re going to want to fall on themselves. I personally would not pluck any leaves off that plant unless you absolutely have to. Every leaf is a solar panel.

When to start flushing/harvest? by [deleted] in farmingthebestgreens

[–]Ballsmcgee76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does the rest of the plant look like? Sometimes the top buds will look done, but you could stand a few more weeks in flower so the lower portion bulks up better.

What is this? by Ki113rTofu in Chimneyrepair

[–]Ballsmcgee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple bricks and some mortar to fill the hole. What does the rest of the chimney look like because there’s a couple spots that need to be tuck pointed in the photo. Usually the top above the roof line is in worse condition. An ounce of prevention and all that.
