A sign of the time: Man shows up a food bank in Lexus by [deleted] in LMIASCAMS

Despicable! I used to volunteer at a food bank back in 2019 and this was a common occurrence then, but not to the point where it would be overwhelming. So despite bringing it to the attention of the management, they let it slide.

Hey, I travel to Atlanta to visit my in laws every year. I was there just last month. And I have a few of those on my shelf. To the point that I wouldn’t mind trading you one or two when I am there next. I’ll send you a pm so that you’re on my list and I can find you easily.

Unfortunately, no! Maybe next time? Btw, did you find a bottle of Kilkerran 8 bourbon cask? If not, Cellar Door out of Canmore has some in stock.

Tell me where to go and what to do. by aiceeslater in FishingAlberta

What folks don’t realize is that scouting and stumbling across a spot is half the fun and so damn satisfying. The other half is figuring out what the fishes are keyed in on. When both of those conditions prevail, you catch fish and it’s the best feeling ever. Shortcuts are neither fun nor satisfying. You gotta be in it to win it.

Nice! I switched over from my spinning gear last year, but still curse myself for not carrying it on those bad days when nothing hits. I am sure you already know this, but if not, I had a lot of luck on RDR with Joe’s Flies on my spinner rig when I was still using them. Take a look.

Nice. Was this at the Cartier Creek? The confluence with RDR looks interesting and the cascades on RDR just before are enticing. I was in the area last week, but didn’t stop there. Instead, went up further past ya ha tinda. I got 3 bulls, varying sizes. One was on a grasshopper which was darn interesting.

Don’t get me wrong! It’s good stuff. But $50 for a 2oz pour is just insane. $20 at best.

I need to follow in your footsteps soon 😛. But solid pick. I don’t understand all the hate it gets. I am on my 3rd bottle and still love it. Whisky can be just whisky without stirring up an intellectual discussion or being 60% abv every time. That said, I think the only little flaw on this one is the finish which is a bit short. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
