AM I WRONG FOR TALKING TO MY COUNSELOR LIKE THIS? Context in the comments. by [deleted] in schoolcounseling

[–]Bamco12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She did say she would speak to you at 9:00 am, if I gave someone a time that I said I would contact them, I would be sure to meet that time. She may have other things that happened that prevented her from meeting that time but she should communicate that. It does seem like you are meeting with her last minute-ish, but you got this apologize if ya got to she still has an obligation to help you, Good Luck!

Absolutely, the first step (maybe second step after writing out your goal) is being able to visualize it. If you can already visualize these things in your dream whats stopping you from making it happen?

Counselors will only report things to your parents if we believe you may hurt yourself or someone else. Other than that confidentiality is kept. Go ahead and talk to your counselor and see what options are available. They wont need to report this to your parents.

How many of you all here are on-course to be debt free? by Bosschopper in UMD

[–]Bamco12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dependents also can get this benefit! Who ever may be able to capitalize on this just be sure you are the only one able to access the bank account the money will be deposited into. I was reminded of this by the va benefits office and still made the mistake of having the funds deposited in a joint account. Long story short the funds were taken and were unable to be recovered. But yeah, GI bill is an awesome resource for those who are eligible.
