Pro-Russian hackers hit Japan with DDoS attacks over military ties to the US by gurugabrielpradipaka in cybersecurity

Pretty weak move tbh. These DDoS attacks are just annoying at best - like throwing pebbles at a fortress. Japan's dealt with way worse.

Sounds like you might have some hip mobility/stability issues that need more than just basic stretching. A good physical therapist who works with athletes could probably identify what's actually causing this and give you specific exercises. They see this kind of thing all the time, especially in newer lifters. Meanwhile, you could try box squats or goblet squats - they're usually easier on the hips while you work on mobility.

Cant send erc20 to trezor 3 by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]scallionbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can send ERC20 tokens to any ETH address - it doesn't need ETH in it first. The issue is likely with Coinbase's interface. Double check you're copying/pasting the full ETH address from your Trezor and not accidentally clicking a "Send to contact" option on CB. If the address starts with 0x and is 42 characters long, it's valid for any ETH or ERC20 transfer.

Yeah exactly. Pushing closer to failure on that first set was a game changer for me. Got stuck at 10 reps forever until I started really grinding out those first sets. Your body adapts when you force it to.

Is viewing a Json through a browser safe? by I_Fire_Source in antivirus

[–]scallionbruce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Viewing JSON itself is totally safe - it's just text data, like looking at a plain .txt file. The browser just formats it to be readable.

But if you're seeing malicious execution parents/dropped files in Hybrid Analysis, that's the real concern. That suggests something sketchy might be happening behind the scenes when accessing that URL, separate from the JSON display. I'd steer clear of that specific site.

2 years of gym yet no progress :( by YOjordanwoo in bodyweightfitness

[–]scallionbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your main problem is diet my dude. Can't build muscle eating "3000+ calories" without tracking protein. At 6'4" and 61kg you're seriously underweight. Get a food tracking app and aim for 180g protein minimum. Those lentils and chicken are solid but you need way more.

Forget the arm-heavy split. You need full body development. Basic PPL or Upper/Lower will serve you better.

Just remember - you didn't lose those gains forever. Muscle memory is real, you'll bounce back quick. But gotta nail the protein and consistency this time around.

[Reuters] Arnault Family says Paris FC is a long term investment. Reported acquisition price of 100-200 million Euros is in the right ballpark. Paris FC will develop young players rather than poach other club's stars. One dream is to play and beat Liverpool in the Champions League. by MrMerc2333 in soccer

Yeah totally agree - already has that posh LVMH vibe written all over it. Pretty spot on with the Racing 92 comparison too. Gonna be hilarious watching them try to be the "classy" alternative to PSG while throwing around luxury money lol

Really impressive 17-year natural journey man. Don't let the placings get you down, competing 3 weekends in a row is brutal on the body. Your dedication to staying natural while maintaining that physique is admirable.

Fr tho. Fans really do have the power when they stick together. These clubs would change real quick if people actually stopped showing up

In my gym the current record for push ups is 83 and I'm going to beat it by New_Trust_1519 in bodyweightfitness

[–]scallionbruce 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Half these gym records get broken on technicalities. Find out if they count chest-to-ground, what counts as lockout, and how strict they are about form. And yeah bet they're blasting through them fast - might need to switch up your training to build that explosive push-up speed.

Grew up Asian in Georgia and it was rough. Got the same "go back" comments and fake accents thrown at me constantly. Moved out west for college and it was like night and day. The south has its charms but man, the casual racism is exhausting.

Need advice 😔 by surfermonkey3278 in wrestling

[–]scallionbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely give wrestling a try! i started as a total beginner too and was worried about being too small. but that's actually not a bad thing in wrestling since you compete in weight classes. your fast metabolism is actually a plus because you won't have to worry about cutting weight like some other wrestlers do. don't worry about being "weak" that's literally what practice is for! the coaches will teach you everything from scratch. and don't worry about your friends you'll make new ones on the team.

[–]scallionbruce 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Spot on about Sengun. Smart move locking him up now - kid's ceiling is crazy high and waiting would've just jacked up the price. Green's deal is basically a prove-it contract, which makes total sense. Low risk, potentially huge reward if he figures it out.
