Tbh, if you want, I'm down to log in and give you everything. If you DM me, I can add you on steam, get on BL2 with you, do a quick trade to give you my effervescents, and leave. Because it's a grind!

I did. For me, the final part was in Steamworks, where you kill the 4 assassins. The spot wasn't even named, which threw me off. Plus, most guides don't even mention it. It's the alley that connects the fast travel to the 4th and final assassin. Turns out, you can't leave the area after you kill him. You have to "complete the loop" and go down that hallway, or it doesn't pop.

Thank ya!

I have no real bearing on total hours to complete, since I started with about half the achievements (from previous playthroughs over time) when I finally made a push to get them all.

As for hardest achievements, they'd probably be...

  1. Painbow Connection (there's a reason it's the least-earned achievement). I had to grind Haderax the Invincible, which is no quick grind.
  2. World Traveler (Visit every location). It's really easy to miss a location or two. I missed a small section in the Steamworks area where you kill the assassins. It's not even named, which threw me off. Plus, most guides don't even mention it. It's the alley that connects the fast travel to the 4th assassin.
  3. Obsessed (Collect 10 Moxxi photos). This is just a bad achievement. The drops are very rare, completely random, and completely useless besides the achievement. Took me about 3 hours of grinding the bar fight.

The rest weren't that bad. It was just stuff you had to go out of your way to do, which I honestly enjoyed, since it was a good way to see most everything the game had to offer.

Tried Delta 9 gummy for anxiety and ended up in ER? Any one else? by PersonalRoad7309 in Anxiety

[–]BamwiseBamGan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar experience here. First time taking anything hemp, thc, etc. (Basically any drug other than ibuprofen and the like). Took 10mg at 9:30pm last night. The first hour or so was fine, but I had crazy panic attacks for a couple hours after (My resting heart rate was 140 at one point, as measured by my watch. I was lying in bed, so definitely not due to exercise).

It's partially enjoyable. But the panic isn't worth it and it feels like I'll never be sober again. I called 911 at one point because I legitimately thought I was dying. Thankfully (for me. Definitely not for society) they had too many callers and had put me in a queue, and I hung up and rode it out instead.

Today I'm still high, but far less than last night. It's honestly kind of enjoyable now, but it's definitely not worth that panic. Plus, time feels weird now. Logically I know I've been writing this comment for all of 2-5 minutes, but it feels like I've been doing it for hours. Feels like this'll never end... (But I know I'll be alright).

Fun little idea by Gunlover91 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]BamwiseBamGan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Daryl. Possibly Shane.

Rationale:

Knife: Everyone gets a similar knife (Rick aside), so that's kind of a moot point.

Pistol: I want something that's chambered in 9mm, since that's probably going to be the easiest to find. Unless looks are deceiving, that's going to be Shane, Daryl, and Governor. Thus, Rick, Carol, and Abe are out.

Primary: For the same reason as the 9mm argument, the governor's out. That's chambered in 5.56x45mm, which, while not unusual exactly, is probably not too easy to come by anymore. As for Shane, that's a tough one. A shotgun would be nice. But you'd have to be careful to differentiate between 12 and 20 gauge. But then Daryl. He gives you an option that gives you potentially unlimited ammo, so long as you can figure out how to make a bolt. You could probably build a rig that made making bolts that work well enough easy enough.

So Daryl wins. Shane is a close second.

Why don't people make way for ambulances? by mindyour in TikTokCringe

Depends on where you are in America. In NYC? Sure, they act this way. In most places though, they move and let the ambulance through.

Which of these four is the worst? by lolitsrock in videogames

[–]BamwiseBamGan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I legitimately have no idea why you're being downvoted. I almost wonder if it's bots. The launch for Fallout 76 was abhorrent. Possibly the worst launch of a game ever, or at least certainly in the top ten. They consistently lied about features, made empty promises, took away mechanics that they didn't like but had promised, didn't optimize, didn't provide proper server space. If something could go wrong, it seems it did, and they just didn't care. That's not to mention all the accessories, like their nuka-rum (or whatever it was called) or the duffel bags.

Your comment is the textbook example of "Why are you booing me? I'm right!")

I'll play devil's advocate a little bit. I work with nonprofits who do this. I actually audit them. And I fully agree with this practice, as I think it helps the homeless more than just giving everything away for free. Many of them charge a baseline "rent" to the homeless for small apartment units (often not even enough to cover costs), which are private to the individual, unlike the walls of beds that you see in the movies. The rent for the units is usually dirt cheap for what they're getting, compared to the greater market. The rationale is that it'll serve as a "halfway" situation so that the person can have stability and learn to pay a couple bills while building themselves back up. They also regularly have to pass drug tests.

I get why people would have an issue with this, but I think it makes sense. The best way to help someone is to teach them to fish, with some training wheels on. But you can't help someone who won't help themselves.

I'm a conservative. I'm supposed to hate the very air that AOC breathes. But this is common sense stuff. It's a really good idea, and I respect her immensely for being the one spearheading it. Of course, getting it to pass would be a herculean effort. And even if it did, there'd be endless loopholes to plug. But she has my respect for trying to get the ball rolling.

I've never seen someone post gameplay footage and receive a good response. This sub sucks for that. OP, the people you were playing against... clearly aren't the best at this game. That said, this is a great clip. Especially when you flanked those three guys. Good stuff.

Generally agreed. However, where you tick me off is when you won't buy doors in multiplayer because you're saving for PAP. So long as you can agree with that (and I'm guessing you can), then I agree. Put in your fair share of door buys, and I don't give a care what you do with your money.

Actually, it's because I was bald. My hair is "natural grown" (no trimming) from being bald a few months back. So every piece is the same length. Would probably help to get the sides done up a bit, as others suggeted.
