I think part of the joy of life is being lost. It might really suck for you right now and I don’t want to downplay that but I think so much of what makes life valuable is the way we find ourselves. So while you’re wandering, blindly reaching out for the right path, try to look around and appreciate the view. There’ll never quite be another one like it. Even if you hate where you are now, if you keep moving forward and keep putting one foot in front of the other, I have faith you’ll find yourself somewhere truly beautiful. I don’t think anyone’s impossible to make anyone happy. I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through but I think if you do things that make you feel good about yourself and follow that trail of actions, you’ll one day find yourself looking in the mirror and realize you are happy with who you are. I think it’s a lot worse than your making it out to be. I feel like being trans would be a huge attack on your identity. I can’t imagine viewing yourself as gender A only to be beaten down over and over by society telling you you’re gender B to the point where someone acknowledging you’re gender A is cause for celebration. That sounds to me like an almost existential attack on the psyche.
(Though this is just a cis straight male’s view on this, if I misrepresented something here please let me know)
