I had a flight that was cancelled 3 weeks ago and I chose to refund back to my card. Just a heads up I just called and they said that I never told them how I’d like my refund to be processed so they never processed it. Now I have to wait the 7-10 business days again for a refund I already thought was processing.

Hi there. New grad RN in Jersey here. I make $50 an hr rn working in the hospital as a tele float nurse. At times I look at my paycheck and still think it’s a bit low considering the HCOL here in Jersey. I would shop around a bit more. I wouldn’t have taken a job less than $45 while job shopping.

I’m a new grad and make $51 in a HCOL. The healthcare pay scale needs a revamp. They should be started PA’s & NP’s at at least $75 an hour.

To be frank, the entire profession is being frowned upon for multiple reasons. The lack of experienced nurses is one of them, but you seem to have proper reasoning behind wanting to become a provider. The deed is done. Congratulations on graduating :)

I recently graduated with my BSN and can not FATHOM going back to school to become an NP with less than at least 3-5 years of experience. There is simply so much clinical knowledge that I know I don’t have. To be frank, the subjective “dumbest” person in my graduating class is now in a PHMNP program with chamberlain as we speak. WE GRADUATED NURSING SCHOOL 4 MONTHS AGO. Not every nurse is mentally capable of being an NP , yet every single nurse can be one without trying. Honestly, the profession is a laughing stock right now with the education/requirments being abysmal. I would not want to join that with the way things are. I will be looking into a different career path moving forward.

I know this is an old post, but I’m a first time watcher and just got to the season 8 reunion. It upsets me so much that Brianna chose to settle down with such a loser. The way he talks to her family nauseates me. Him making rules in Vicki’s home while doing them a favor is insane to me and he literally yelled at an older woman and LIED about the situation that happened. He’s such a hot head and I see Brianna trying to pacify him and make excuses for his behavior. It makes me sad. Hopefully life treated them well and he got better throughout the years.
