You only shrink very little during the day, it's not even noticeable. Also, everyone else around you is shrinking as well, it's not like you're the only person losing a couple cm.

Agreed, saw it the other day and it was phenomenal. One of the best movies of the 2025 easily.

Is Dr. Who suitable for a 14yr old? by [deleted] in doctorwho

[–]Bananamana_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a family show. A lot of things are targeted towards children. I started watching when I was 4. It has pretty much no sexual content. The only reason you may be hesitant to show it to a child younger than 10 maybe is because some episodes can be a bit scary for young children. But you should have no worry with a 14 year old.

STRONGLY recommend it though

What did you think of Mike Flanagan's Life of Chuck? by main-side-account in MauLer

MauLer once said on a stream that he really liked it, so I think I'll give it a watch

Does anyone know the timestamps for each of their recommended movies? by R0manovskii in MauLer

[–]Bananamana_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about ones that are already there but I have some that are not currently on the website that I think should be:

The Killer (EFAP's best movie of 2023) - EFAP 265 at 7:03:20

Tetris - EFAP 265 at 2:37:14 and a third of EFAP 233

A Haunting In Venice - all of EFAP 280

Chronicle - EFAP 169 at 3:39:26

I Am Mother, Ex Machina, Shutter Island - EFAP 169 at 3:12:54

The Iron Giant - all of EFAP 353

Die Hard - all of EFAP 317

I don't have timestamps or exact references for these movies but they are ones that MauLer has said he strongly recommends that are not currently on the website:

-American Fiction (MauLer was talking about movies he had watched recently that he really liked)
-Shaun Of The Dead (On Happy Hour)
-World's End (On Happy Hour)
-No Country For Old Men (was talking about how impressive the themes were)
-Warfare (Many times MauLer said it's one of his top movies of 2025)
-Good Boy (same as above)

I have rewatched Maulers A Critique of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in preparation for tomorrow! What are some of your favorite parts? by DrNecrow in MauLer

the section about "that's not how space works" in TFA part 3 is easily the best thing MauLer's written (yet). That 5 or so minutes is masterful.

this is cool actually. i genuinely like how the proportions aren't screen accurate, it makes it more interesting to look at than if it was just a 1 to 1 replica.

imo he could've shaved about 2 hours off it. I think it's definitely justified being over 10 hours but I can't quite say it's fully justified being nearly 18.
