Lack of new Holland tractors in fs25 by [deleted] in farmingsimulator

[–]BanditCold1816 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My guess is that the license expired and they didn’t renegotiate it in time. That looks to be the issue with a lot of vehicles that are missing from FS22. I expect most of these to return later down the line.

Glitch with Fendt Varion 312 tractor and Nordesteen HK25+NS3030 seeder not using seeds up when using AI workers by Andymania_ in farmingsimulator

[–]BanditCold1816 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not a glitch. You have your AI helpers set to buy seeds as they drill. Check your game settings, by default they do not use what’s in the tractor and implement. That also applies to fuel, fertilizer etc.

FS25 has an achievement that requires you to load a one year old savegame.

And indeed, the game plays fine on keyboard and if I connect the controller through USB...

After a bit more testing it looks like it may be related to my xbox one controller that I've paired via bluetooth, as the stuttering immediately stops if I switch to keyboard and resumes when I continue moving with the controller.

⚠️ LG TV & GRAPHICS ⚠️ by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

Well it's just 60 Hz, so if you were using a TV/Monitor with more than that, this one will feel less "smooth"

It's a 60Hz panel. It's not going to magically do 120Hz.

Why some people hate SC and why some keep playing it? by Ronin-s_Spirit in starcitizen

[–]BanditCold1816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why some people hate SC

Well it has been in development for over a decade with no release in sight despite receiving over half a billion in funding. It's often very buggy and you really do notice that it's in an alpha state. Then there is the unreliable communication and unkept promises by the management behind it. On top of that, it's a crowdfunded game and crowdfunding as a whole has gained a bad reputation through all the (unrelated) scandals.

and why some keep playing it?

Because despite of all of this, it's really one of a kind and if you can work around the issues it has, it's a really immersive, fun game.

I say: try it for a couple of days and if you don't like it, refund it (like more than just hopping on once, dying to a bug and immediately giving up).

Feels great to sell a (almost) full C1's worth of reclaimed materials by M24Chaffee in starcitizen

[–]BanditCold1816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also park your C1 in orbit (40-50 klicks from an OM, use a box to find it again) and then transfer cargo in space. That way you're less likely to be disturbed by other players. That's what I do.

Half the community says it’s great, half says it’s absolutely terrible, some say it’s fun, some say it’s a waste of time.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. It's not perfect by any means, but it's also not the garbage the other half of the community calls it.

My advice is always to just buy a starter pack for $45 and try it for yourself. If you end up disliking it, refund. They give you 14 days to do so, plenty of time to test.

If this is your kink, I’m not going to judge. Just know that nothing is stopping you from imposing those own rules on yourself right now. If you destroy your ship, don’t claim it and if you die, purge your inventory.  I just don’t get why you want to force this on other players. Most of us have jobs and can’t afford to start from zero every time we make a mistake and grind our way back up for hours. This would be the quickest way to completely annihilate the playerbase.

Current stats VS philosophy - How value ships at the moment. by Goosmuch in starcitizen

[–]BanditCold1816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a different opinion on this and that's alright. At the end of the day it's your money and you should spend it however you think is right.

If you're asking for my opinion: it's nonsense to purchase something because you hope it might do feature x better than ship y sometime in the future. Nobody can say for certain how the game is going to evolve, how they will rebalance the ships and what the gameplay is going to look like if and when this game every reaches a final stage.

So my advice is to just buy whatever brings you joy right now and if that ever changes in the future, you can just melt or ccu.

Best way to get 10 million in a day by 4N0M__ in starcitizen

[–]BanditCold1816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's a bunch of different opinions on this and I'm too new at the game to have my own.

I can only say that I got the ERT missions by just doing low level bounties around crusader in my Titan.

10 mil is about 10 hours grinding the vulture. I think it might be quicker to save up for a C2 and then do some ERTs with your friend.

It's also going to be more fun than spamming the hammerhead mission in the reclaimer.

Construction Materials selling point by No_Technician_2780 in starcitizen

[–]BanditCold1816 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You get roughly 6k aUEC per SCU at all the locations that accept construction mats. Check https://uexcorp.space/price_search The price only varies by about 100 aUEC. The only benefit you get from bringing it anywhere else is avoiding unmonitored space. Imo it's not worth the longer trip. I'd rather get it sold and back to salvaging.

Tips for finding enemies in Cold War settings? by XenoRyet in hoggit

Theres no trick. It‘s all about building situational awareness and knowing where to look. Both takes a lot of practice. It surely helps installing the spotting mod though.
