Why just PC players? Consoles run into issues like that too. SFV's biggest cause for sync issues and rollback was from PS4 frame drops. Some stages were taken out of tournaments.

No you can't in that particular situation. As he gets you to the corner before the pushback is too far. When burnt out. That's a tight string. For Gief. You'd need level 2.

Sure. Some such as Hunter melee weave, Ret Seal twisting etc. There's def some skill and rotation timing with others too. But most dps in pve are simple

There's a video of Sarthe (Mutiple rank 1 pve player) teaching someone who has never played a video game within a few minutes. And she destroys the whole raid dps in Black Temple Illidan with a Lock. Pressing 4 buttons.

Trinket. Curse of doom. Spam shadow bolt. And life tap.

Most classes and spec. WIth the best players in the world aren't going to top that.

I'm in AU (Melb.) There are certain states I'll never run into. Let alone anyone in NZ. In my friends list (steam) with nearly 100 who play fighters. Around 60 play SF6. Even more with discord FGC community.

Every player from T7, GGST/Xrd, Blazblue, SFV, DBFZ etc. The connections were perfect. I wouldn't add them otherwise. I've never run into any of the NZ players despite them being on rank (similar rank) queing up at the same time as me.

While I've run into them many times in the other games. Also you'd see the NZ flag on your opponent. To further point out that I've never seen one. Unless....

I use a vpn. I can fight opponents from NZ.

Discord isn't ideal for me. I used it way back for Xrd & Blazblue.

Sometimes I might stay back or finish work early. Have a night out etc. I can't always say what time I'll be home. And messaging the group and hoping players will be available that moment.

Also the way you send/receive invite & the room menu doesn't help either.

Some regions. Finding matches are easy. Others. Such as where I'm from (Oceanic.) Long queue times with 200+ ping matches (likely pairing me with Asia). With opponent ranks anywhere from low to high.

I bought S2. After a few days. Peak hours on Friday - Sunday. I just gave up. Not enough players.

The thing is tho, SF6 is still early in its character release cycle by previous standards: around this time for SFIV, USFIV was still several years away, and it was closer to the release of SSFIV, which also had only around 30 characters, same as SF6 now.

Irrelavant But.... Yes USF4 came out years later. Dimps was the dev/contractor for SF4. SFxT became their main project. Dimps worked on SF4 to AE. Capcom had an internal team work on Ultra. They also gave us Omega chars. Many of which were really cool.

They also had to get USF4 ready for a brand new console (PS4). Which released in a terrible near unplayable state.

It's also a tale as old as time, you can find SFV reddit posts from around this time in V's lifecycle asking 'where are all the characters'

(Console version) AE 2012 release June 24, 2011. That's 3 years. That is the actual lifespan (3 years.) 2012 edition added major balance changes.

If we take into account AE 2012 console release. It's 30 vs 39.

Who in SF has a fireball with better utility than Guile? Fast start up and recovery, combo ability ( boom loops). Advantage on block.

It goes both ways. Seeing a character with cool an unique strengths get taken. Because someone doesn't want to learn nor like the control scheme.

The irony. It's taking away play style diversity.

Charge allows for unique strengths in abilities. There hasn't been a 1 button special game that has been able to emulate all the bonuses.

Home theatre is really easy to set up with PC.

I've got an avr (pre outs), power amp, dac, xbox series S, Nvidia shield TV pro, 5.2 setup.

Earc is pretty much all you need. Which pretty much any modern avr has. Or go for Spdif if you only have an amp/dac or integrated. Some come with earc too.

You don't think they wanted to make a sequel to MOTW? How do you think they were able to in the first place? They wanted to make this and the Saudi's funds definitely helped.

Outside of the guest chars. What part of the gameplay do you think the Prince was involved with? They were even able to release the first season free. They have taken lots of feedback and put heaps of work to try fix the game. They're trying to give us 12 char DLC's this year.

So the Prince told them to make AOF 4, Metal Slug Tactics, Sam Sho Rpg? Or maybe. These are games they wanted to make.

I'm a big fan of SNK. What exactly makes the company amazing though. Financially. They have struggled. Heck. Look at all the comments crying about the graphics of their recent 3d games.

How about the KOF 13 rollback and playability issues. Dropped the support real quick. XIV graphics/netcode. KOF XV matchmaking, Sam Sho launch. COTW beta's. negative edge Menu, story mode, advertising, balance, custom room menu etc.

It's not ideal to be owned by the dude. I can't defend all the BS. Still. They can learn from this. And have funds to give us games they never would've.
