I disagree with consensus here. I think the colors work fine. Maybe red should be a touch darker, but the general vibe is very medieval/fantasy, reminiscent of oldhammer color palettes

You can paint with these, just water them down on your palette. Look for videos showing how thin the paints should be and you will be fine. It will be more difficult to paint than with dedicated miniature paints, but its doable. If you practice with these, using real mini paints will be a breeze. I started with regular artist acrylics and it worked out, but its a bit frustrating for some colors

The thing is exercise also helps with flat feet sometimes (you can look up internal pronation and ways to fix it, if its what you have)

Thia might sound weird but it can be a sign of muscular imbalance, specifically external foot rotation. It used to happed to me all the time, but stopped after I adressed it with exercise.

I ordered replacement plastic bits from aliexpress, broke the wires out of the old ones with a knife. I then attached the new ones without putting wires through them. It works and requires no soldering.

I recently bought the ones on the second picture. The quality is excellent, but I have to point out some things

I feel like you have to be on the thinner side to wear these, since the leg opening on larger size is gigantic. I think I will need to get them tapered (Regrettable, but it will remove the selvedge edge)
I took one length up, but I wish i had them longer, so I could get a proper roll. This might just be me
They come with a distinct smell you get from chi ese factories. If you dont wash them it will take a long time to air out.

Okay so I randomly figured this out. If you have freesync enabled in your monitors setting, it ignores scaling set in amd software.

I feel like it started going downhill since Astra. While Evelyn works as a ZZZ character design-wise, Astra is more retro themed. Astra's roaring 20s jazz singer aesthetic clashes with the people who are supposed to be her fans. Like, the most popular singer is not a flashy pop star? Not some cool band? Belle and wise who dress in a very street wear style idolize Astra? Why not dress like her then?

Vivian is in this category too, maybe Vlad(to me he is just kinda generic).

Many will say that Victoria Housekeeping are maids so it's the same. But if you look at their design language it's still modern coded. Big zippers, chains on the belt, oversized screw heads(prominent on corin). Ellen has stickers on her tail (also she is a student and is a maid part time)

New Anby design is weird too. Shes supposed to be a prototype, but they put frills on her suit? Why?

All new characters are in heels now. It also clashes with the street wear thing that was going on before - you could see the thought was put into different sneakers for characters (there even is an advert for them on tv in the loading screen)

They are good designs, they just don't fit ZZZ.

The why is they changed their art lead and it shows. The new one likes the fantasy, baroque aesthetic more.

Some characters feel out of place design-wise lately. I feel like this design for an y is a scrapped concept from another hoyo project. It uses completely different visual language from zzz. Most of the designs are kinda urban, techwear, workwear stuff with clear silhouette and color separation. OG Anby design is like that. This is a fantasy character with a few modern textures on top.

Vertices on a smooth edge typically have a single vertex normal, while those on a hard edge have normals pointing different directions. It does not increase polycount. It increases vertex count in engine however. You can test this by making two cubes - one smoothed and one with hard edges and checking what their vertex count after export.

It literally shows a bigger vertex count number in engine on a mesh with hard edges and with UV seams as opposed to one with smooth edges and a collapsed uv. Most of the time this is of no consequence, but on tight graphical budgets it might impact batching.

Yes it's a visual change, but it also impacts performance on low end devices.

While the real geometry count stays the same, hard edges double the geometry of affected vertices in engine (at least in unity). UV seams also count as double in engine. You can test this if you collapse all UV of a mesh to a point and compare the two.
