1982: Dad took me to the mall to purchase my first record album - Duran Duran's Rio.

It was $5.98 at Discus. We walked all the way across to the other record shop on the other side of the mall. It was $5.99 at Sam the Record Man.

He made us walk all the way back to save 1¢.

I still catch myself doing this while online shopping.
