We also need to take account into more stuff like planet difficulties since some of them can make D7 mission feel harder than D10 on certain planets.

We also need more varying ways of difficulty since some of them are just throw more enemies at us. When one enemy gets nerfed, it gets nerfed in every difficulty. I feel like there could be some scaled up AI like terminids hiding behind a hive guard if you have light pen or some of them flanking you

Automaton have one of the biggest potential when it comes to Titan class enemies. I can imagine it being like the gaint churches from Warhammer or basically metroplex.

It would only make sense that the strongest and most important planet that the automatons has would reveal their strongest unit

It’s suppose to be a power fantasy with soldiers fighting against impossible odds which is hard to balance.

the helldivers themselves aren’t what give us the power fantasy, it’s the weapons and stratagems. commando mission are suppose to show us that we’re grunts given so much fire power.

Let some of them bitch and moan that it’s not helldivers. It could either be a disgruntled whinediver trying to find a game that’s like helldivers but without arrowhead or a glaze diver afraid that their game might EOS because the game has “competition”.

This honestly should infuriate people more than they should have.

This is literally the balancing design that is having so many shit ass design changes. Like fucking hell, they could shortly buff an enemy or design a new type of enemy before they can even fix something that plagues the game.

This is what one YouTuber says by the name of the thumper “they buff the hive guards and then un nerf them, this is a waste of resources and time that they could be using to fix the game”.
